Eros Now has released a new track ‘Chakala Wakala’, which serves as the anthem for the football-based web series ‘7 Kadam’, starring Ronit Roy and Amit Sadh as father and son.
It has been directed by Harshit Saxena, who revealed how he decided the name during anthem’s virtual launch.
The track was inspired by FIFA World Cup Anthems of the past, such as ‘Ole Ola’ by Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte.
According to Saxena, most anthems have had a unique name and this was what he envisioned for Chakala Wakala as well.
As for the name’s origin, he said that he heard children belting it out while playing. The music director later decided to use it as the title.
