ZEE5 recently dropped the trailer of ‘14 Phere’, an upcoming original film that is set to premiere on the platform on July 23, starring Vikrant Massey, Kriti Kharbanda. The Hindi-language social comedy drama revolves around a roller coaster love story where parental opposition pushes a couple to discover a twisted way to orchestrate their nuptials.
’14 Phere’ features youngsters Sanjay (Vikrant Massey) and Aditi (Kriti Kharbanda) who fall in love in college and begin to live-in together. They wish to get married but that means double trouble.
Sanjay’s parents would not agree to an inter-cast alliance, while Aditi’s father is strongly opposed to the idea of love marriages.
Their parents’ anticipated disapproval of their relationship leads them to plan two weddings with two different sets of fake parents to solve their problem. Gauahar Khan and Jameel Khan come to the aid of these lovers, trying to marry beyond community.
Massey, high on the success of recently released ‘Haseen Dilruba‘, has revealed that he fell in love with the film script instantly and is looking forward to the audience’s reaction.
Kharbanda has stated that ’14 Phere’ is not just another wedding film and its “kick-ass script” would keep the audience hooked and entertained all the way.
Director Devanshu Singh while calling ’14 Phere’ a “close-knit fun family film” explained that it celebrates the institution of marriage as well as emotional bonds and moral values, while questioning some flaws in a reasonably entertaining way. “I am sure you will have a good time. The trailer is just the beginning.”
