1. Borgen- Power & Glory

Cast: Sidse Babett Knudsen, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Søren Malling, Lisbeth Wulff, Freja Riemann, Kasper Lange

Following on 9 years after the conclusion of the third season, ‘Borgen- Power & Glory’ once again focuses on Birgitte Nyborg as she finds herself working under a new, younger prime minister as Denmark faces a potential conflict with Russia after oil is discovered in Greenland. Birgitte is at least able to manage her work and home life as she is now divorced and her children are all grown up.

2. As the Crow Flies

‘As the Crow Flies’ is the story of the battle between two different generations within a newsroom as the Gen X members hold onto their places with their experience and guile while the Gen Z-ers use their expertise in the modern digital world to get ahead. The main focus is on Asli (Miray Daner) a younger intern who joins the station to follow her idol but soon confronts the dark side of ambition, envy and the desire to be seen.

3. Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey

This docu-series explores the life of self-professed prophet Warren Jeffs. Jeffs led a secretive polygamous sect of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS). While at the helm of this radical arm of the Mormon Church of the Latter-Day Saints, Jeffs accumulated 78 wives, 24 of which were underage girls, and reportedly at least 60 children.

In 2008, federal law enforcement raided Jeffs’s Yearning for Zion Ranch in West Texas on the grounds of sexual, physical, and psychological abuse. The 66-year-old was convicted on two counts of sexual assault of a child and sentenced to life in prison.

4. Baby Fever

‘Baby Fever’ follows Nana who during a drunken stupor, inseminates herself with a really special portion of sperm, which happens to be her ex-boyfriend. As a result, she starts a chain reaction of small and large catastrophes.

With the secret pregnancy, Nana begins to see her clients in a new light, but as her lies grow bigger, it becomes harder and harder for her to navigate them, so for the first time in her life, Nana must tell the truth – and reveal a secret that could end up costing her everything.

5. Intimacy

A sex tape of a promising politician leaked to the press serves as the catalyst for this drama, which follows the lives of four women who are compelled to walk the delicate line between what belongs in public and private life. This series stars Itziar Ituño of ‘Money Heist’ fame and created by Verónica Fernández and Laura Sarmiento.

6. Peaky Blinders season 6

Cast: Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Finn Cole, Natasha O’Keeffe

The final season of Peaky Blinders follows after Shelby’s infiltration of Britain’s burgeoning fascist movement was taking a toll, as was a botched assassination attempt, the breakdown of the Peaky enterprise and lingering grief over the death of his longtime love, Grace.

Helen McCrory, who played headstrong Peaky Blinders matriarch Polly Shelby, died in 2021 after a battle with cancer and will be a notable absence during the final season.

7. God’s Favourite Idiot

Mid-level Tech support employee Clark Thompson (Falcone) finds love with co-worker Amily Luck (McCarthy) at the same time he becomes the unwitting messenger of God. After getting struck by lightning from a very unusually angelic cloud, Clark suddenly can glow.

He’s chosen specifically to prevent the Apocalypse from happening as Satan (Bibb) descends on Earth along with the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.

8. The Umbrella Academy season 3

Cast: Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher

The Umbrella Academy has just stopped yet another world-ending event but it has come at a cost. They’ve meddled with the past and essentially change the future, a future where instead of them being chosen by Reginald Hargreaves, it’s a different set of super-powered children collectively called the Sparrow Academy.

Now they must combat this alternate version of their team to convince them that they’re the good guys and also get ready for more impending threats to the world.

9. Money Heist Korea – Joint Economic Area

After the stellar success of the Spanish crime series, Money Heist returns in an entirely different setting but promising much of the same thrill and intensity.

A strategist criminal mastermind, and plans to pull off a heist in Korean Peninsula. The operation involves strategists and desperados with different characteristics and abilities, who have to face unusual situations. All eyes are focused on the background and definition behind the title Joint Economic Area.

10. Man vs Bee

Cast: Rowan Atkinson, Jing Lusi, Claudie Blakley, Tom Basden, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Greg McHugh

A man named Trevor finds himself entrenched in an ongoing battle with a bee while housesitting an elegant mansion as the official synopsis asks us, “Who will win, and what irreparable damage will be done in the process?”

This series brings Rowan Atkinson back onto the small screen as he exhibits his trademark style of physical comedy that he is so well-renowned for.
