All 7 shows & movies coming to Prime Video: February 2023

In February 2023, there will laughter, romance, adventures, crime, thrill, and more on Prime Video with the release of 7 new shows and movies.

The month of February comes bearing gifts in the form of new titles like The Consultant and Farzi. These new shows, albeit few, seem promising. There are also movies like Somebody I Used to Know that revolve around the subject of love and self-discovery.

In terms of the old shows, the viewers can look forward to Harlem and Carnival Row. Both these shows will be receiving new seasons this month, resuming the stories in which the viewers are already invested.

Here are all the shows and movies coming to Prime Video in February 2023:

1. Harlem season 2

Cast: Meagan Good, Jerrie Johnson, Grace Byers, Shoniqua Shandai

Harlem is back with the story of four fashionable and ambitious women. With her career, along with her love life, in shambles, Camille will have to get back on her feet.

Quinn needs time to get to know herself better, while Tye needs to think about her future. Meanwhile, Angie’s career gets a boost.

The new season of the series will see the four best friends taking the next step in their personal and professional lives, but not without a dose of warm friendships, new love interests, and a spoonful of laughter.

2. Casando a mi Ex

Cast: Zuria Vega, Guillermo Villegas, Danae Reynaud, Harold Azuara, Juana Arias, Andrea Ortega-Lee, Anna Ciocchetti

The film follows Mariana, a wedding planner who does not believe in marriage. When her boyfriend, Luis, proposes to her, she rejects his proposal because she does not want to be a part of a farce.

Luis then decides to get revenge on her by getting married to someone else. Unaware of his intentions, Mariana agrees to organize his wedding to prove that she is not hurt. However, the two have no control over their own feelings for each other, which are yet to fade away.

3. Somebody I Used to Know

Cast: Alison Brie, Jay Ellis, Kiersey Clemons, Haley Joel Osment, Danny Pudi, Julie Hagerty, Amy Sedaris

In the film, Ally is a producer who has become a workaholic. A bump in her professional life causes her to go back to her hometown, where she meets Sean, a man she used to love. Sean’s fiancé, Cassidy, reminds Ally of the person she used to be in the past.

Meeting Sean and Cassidy makes her question what she has become and where she is going in life. The trip to her hometown helps Ally rediscover herself, but it also complicates things when an old spark is reignited.

4. Farzi

Cast: Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Zakir Hussain, Chittranjan Giri, Jaswant Singh Dalal, Amol Palekar, Kubbra Sait, Regina Cassandra

A talented artist, Sunny, gets pulled into the business of counterfeiting currency notes when he finds a way to create the perfect fake note. Michael, a task force officer, wants to catch him to put an end to this illegal business.

It is Sunny’s intelligence and his resolve to defeat the system against Michael’s unconventional methods and his determination to catch the criminal. Like any other game, there can be only one winner.

5. Carnival Row season 2

Cast: Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, Arty Froushan, Caroline Ford, Karla Crome, Andrew Gower, Tamzin Merchant, David Gyasi

The clash between humans and mythical creatures continues in the new season of Carnival Row, but the characters will face new challenges. The second season sees Philo investigating a series of murders that result in social unrest.

Meanwhile, Vignette Stonemoss and the Black Raven seek revenge for being oppressed by The Burgue’s human leaders. Tourmaline’s powers threaten her fate and the future of The Row.

Then there are Imogen Spurnrose and Agreus Astrayon, who find themselves in a new society after their escape.

With their world falling apart, the heroes will be tested at every step in the war for freedom. As the stakes are too high, they cannot afford to lose or back down.

6. La Cabeza de Joaquín Murrieta season 1

Cast: Juan Manuel Bernal, Alejandro Speitzer, Yoshira Escárrega, Emiliano Zurita, Becky Zhu Wu

Joaquín Murrieta is a legend, who is also known as the Mexican Robin Hood. He meets Joaquín Carrillo while he is embroiled in a violent confrontation, which is a result of a misunderstanding. The two realize they have a common enemy, Harry Love.

As the enemy of an enemy is a friend, the two join hands to defeat Harry Love. The series will have eight episodes following the adventures of these two men.

7. The Consultant

Cast: Christoph Waltz, Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Grady, Aimee Carrero

Regus Patoff is a consultant who gets hired by CompWare, an app-based gaming company. His job is to improve the business. With his arrival, the employees face new challenges and demands that make them question everything they know.

The show will combine comedy and thriller to depict an unconventional and dark relationship between a boss, who is seen as a sociopath, and the other employees, whose lives turn into a living nightmare.

Release date: 24 February
