A new month means brand new content from streaming platforms. August starts soon and with it comes binge-worthy web series and movies across all the OTT platforms. 

Here are 10 films and web series, original and renewed, premiering this month:

Navarasa

Created by Mani Ratnam, Navarasa is a nine-part anthology web series that explores nine human emotions — anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace, and wonder. This collection of features promises an emotional rollercoaster.

Inspired by true events of the 1999 Kargil War, the film is a tribute to Captain Vikram Batra and an ode to his indispensable sacrifice.

Brand New Cherry Flavour

An upcoming horror-thriller, the eight-episode series follows a young director heading to Hollywood in the early 90s but falls into “the hallucinatory rabbit hole of sex, magic, revenge – and kittens.”

Bhuj: The Pride of India

The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf

The anime movie follows Geralt’s mentor, Vesemir, as he finds himself on a new adventure that forces him to face his demons of the past. Set before Vesemir met Gerald, the film shows him as a swashbuckling young Witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

This romantic drama is a remake of the popular South Korean film ‘Mr Hong.’ The Netflix Original is a story of a pragmatic dentist, Yoon Hye-jin, falling in love with the quiet seaside town and its jack-of-all-trade resident Du-sik.
