The Family Man on Amazon Prime Video swept the audience off their feet with an ensemble cast and the story of national security through the lens of a common man.
Speculations have been rife about the release of The Family Man season 2 from a long time. Earlier, The Family Man Season 2 was expected to be released in October 2020. But due to the pandemic, the show was pushed to a later date.
Led by Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani and Shreya Dhanwanthary among others, the show is expected to see some new faces as well with its sequel.
Here’s the main cast of The Family Man season 2:
Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari
Bajpayee will retain his role as the lead. He plays Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man based in Mumbai who secretly works as an intelligence officer for T.A.S.C while simultaneously trying to keep things afloat in his family. In the first season, he was seen juggling work and family whilst crossing borders and ensuring national security for his country by stopping a potential terrorist attack.
Sharib Hashmi as JK Talpade
Hashmi was seen in the role of JK Talpade working shoulder to shoulder with Srikant Tiwari. He will retain his role in the second season too. He also works for T.A.S.C.
Priyamani Raj as Suchitra Tiwari
Telegu-Tamil film actress Priyamani Raj will retain her role as Srikant’s wife Suchitra in the second season. The first season some high and low moments in their marriage owing to Arvind (played by Sharad Kelkar), her co-worker and friend.
Samantha Akkineni as Raji
Actor Samantha Akkineni will be seen as Raji in the sequel of The Family Man. Not much has been revealed about her role, however, a while back the actor took to Instagram to share her joy on being part of the team. Akkineni will make her debut on the OTT platform with The Family Man season 2.
Shreya Dhawanthary as Zoya
Shreya Dhanwanthary will reprise her role as T.A.S.C intelligence officer Zoya. This branch was fictionalized especially for The Family Man.
