Is the shark suit from Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead real?

In Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, Tendo dreams of becoming a superhero in a zombie-filled world. To make this possible, he plans to retrieve a shark suit that will help him fight off the zombies.

Tendo finds his shark suit at the Marine Paradise Aquarium in Ibaraki. The information on the shark suit mentions that it is made of titanium fiber and high-tensile steel fiber. It is a special diving suit made for the world’s first Great white shark breeding exhibition.

With the help of the shark suit, Tendo is not only able to fight the zombie bites but also a great white shark that turns into a zombie and starts wreaking havoc at the aquarium.

Tendo’s suit does protect him from zombie bites, but in a scene, he admits that the bites do pinch a bit. In the end, Tendo and his friends make the best of the suit to defeat the zombie shark. The suit acts as a conductor to electrocute the zombie shark when Tendo punches it on the nose with two batteries in his hands.

Shark Stop suits

Wetsuits designed by Shark Stop, an Australian company, come close to the suit Tendo uses in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead.

These wetsuits have proven to reduce the depth of a Great white shark bite. The wetsuits apply nanofiber protection to bio-based neoprene in key areas where most shark bites take place.

The Shark Stop suits don’t aim to prevent a shark attack. However, they do their best to minimize damage if an attack takes place. Thus, making sure there is not much blood loss until the rescue arrives.

The suits have been tested on Great white sharks, and the predators have barely left holes in the suits. The wetsuit is flexible, as it weighs around the same as an average neoprene wetsuit. The suit is ideal for surfers and divers who are looking for a layer of protection.
