Kaagaz is set to release on ZEE5 on January 7, 2021. It is based on the story of Lal Bihari Mritak, a farmer who was declared dead in government record. The film is directed by Satish Kaushik and produced by Salman Khan and Nishant Kaushik.

Pankaj Tripathi as Bharat Lal
Tripathi plays the lead in the movie. He seems perfect of the role of a common man who spends his life battling to prove his existence. Also, Tripathi’s quirk and charm adds a relatable touch to the satirical comedy.
Amar Upadhyay as Vidhayak Jaganpal Singh
The 44-year-old actor will be seen as a rowdy and cruel Vidhayak in the movie. Upadhyay is a popular TV face and is know from his shows Molkki and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
Monal Gajjar as Rukmani
Gajjar will be playing the role of Rukmani, the wife of Bharat Lal. The Indian film actress predominantly appears in Gujarati, Telugu, and Tamil films. She will be seen next in ‘Alludu Adhurs’.
Satish Kaushik as Advocate Sadhuram Kewat
The Bollywood veteran actor plays a lawyer who is a master of cases pertaining to false deaths. He is the one who is responsible for initiating legal procedures for Bharat Lal.
Sharat Sonu as Rampal
Sonu is known for his character Pawan in ‘Story 9 Months Ki’ on Sony TV. He will be seen portraying a simpleton, Rampal, in the film.
The other cast members who will appear in the film include Ansuman Bhagat, Mita Vashisht, Godaan Kumar, Garrvil Mohan, Florian Dibra, Suhas Bhoite, Jai Singh, and Sandeepa Dhar.
