Zack and Bliss have emerged as one of the healthier couples in Love Is Blind season 4, and after suffering an almost too dramatic a breakup and believing second chances as they contend with tough feelings that remain, this couple has gone on a wild ride.
Zack and Bliss share many similarities, in terms of their personalities as well as the little quirks and qualities that set them apart from others. The two also seem to share a rather similarly kind heart that eventually helps in their reunion.
Their split comes as quite a shock and devastation to not just themselves but also the viewers, who all go through an emotional roller coaster as a romantic arc rife with drama, love, breakup, and ultimately reunion, takes place between them.
The breakup
Zack goes through a real wringer as he puts a heavy weight over his heart, choosing Irina over Bliss, and rejecting the latter with tears in his eyes that flow out endlessly.
The decision visibly pains him, as it does Bliss, who’s shattered to have suffered a setback after pouring so much of her heart on her interactions and relationship with Zack.
Bliss cries her heart out with Tiffany as the resident mean girls of Love Is Blind season 4 — Irina and Micah — share giggles and laughs.
Realization & redress
Zack soon realizes that he’s erred with his decison, but before finally putting it into words, he tries a lot to connect with Irina, trying to get her to respond to his efforts at affection.
However, all he gets is Irina’s almost caricature-ish repulsion. She claims she gets the “icks” from him and truly can’t feel any physical chemistry.

Crossing his patience threshold, Zack finally calls it quits, and it’s a mutual cutting of ties.
He then rushes to make amends and correct his grave mistakes, which takes him back to Bliss. Love Is Blind episode 5 ends with the two coming face-to-face for the first time.
Second chances & their baggage
Zack is grateful to find Bliss arrive at the date after their breakup on the show. She is clearly still sad and very upset and Zack is embarrassingly remorseful.
With slightly comical lines, Bliss conveys her feelings that remain sour after she got rejected by Zack on the show. She further feels bad thinking Zack trying to court her again feels too much like she’s his second choice.
She expresses that much to Zack, competently conveying how furious she still is, as well as frustrated and cautious as she gives him a second chance, and then a third, and eventually a fourth.
Despite all that happened on the show, Zack manages to reignite chemistry between him and Bliss and they hit it off really well again. Bliss is really taken by the physical chemistry they share and as they grow closer throughout their dates, it’s made evident just how similar the two are in terms of their personalities and even tastes.
Even if seemingly a bit fast-paced, Zack proposes to Bliss, and though she is surprised, she accepts him, getting engaged and ready for the next phase of their relationship.
