Plot summary

Maan Arora, Gaurav Jain, and Rajesh Khanna are best friends. While Arora is a playboy who is not answerable to anyone, Jain has to do as his father says because he is terrified of him.

Then there is Khanna, whose girlfriend, Vaishali, recently cheated on him with their boss and broke his heart. Vaishali is now marrying their boss.

Arora comes up with the idea to go on a trip to help Khanna deal with his heartbreak. As they do not have a car, he decides to include a friend named Honey Singh in their plan.

Honey runs a transport business and treasures his car, which he has named Paro, more than anything. Jain and Honey do not get along at all.

Honey suggests that they take Khanna to Pathankot, where Vaishali is getting married, so that he can confront her directly, tell her he is over her, and move on.

Jain is reluctant to go because he is getting married in a week, but Arora convinces him to join them, assuring him that they will return in a few hours.

Just a few minutes into their road trip, a drunk Khanna starts a fight with a group of men and burns a toll booth before escaping with his friends.

The four friends then crash a wedding for free drinks. Jain, who had been the only one acting responsibly until now, also decides to get drunk to prove that he can be a good friend.

The four of them drink all night. The next morning, they wake up with no memories of the night before.

They then find out that in a drunken state, Jain insulted the groom for taking dowry from the bride’s family, leading to the groom’s family calling off the wedding.

Jain then saved the day by volunteering to marry the bride, Radha. Jain, who was set to marry the girl of his father’s choice in a week, is now married to a complete stranger.

Jain’s friends try to get out of there without taking Radha with them, but they are forced to let Radha accompany them when her father threatens to take his own life.

Jain even tries to abandon his new wife at a temple, but Honey does not let him, as Radha had called him her brother.

Radha quickly becomes part of their friend group. She advises Khanna to take a fake girlfriend to Vaishali’s wedding to prove to her that he has truly moved on.

Radha takes them to Punjab University to convince one of her friends to pretend to be Khanna’s girlfriend. While Radha’s friend refuses, another girl named Meera agrees.

Meera works for a gang that deals in drugs and weapons. She needs to deliver drugs to the gang leaders in time, which is the only reason she agrees to be Khanna’s fake girlfriend.

In return, she asks them to make a stop in Gurdaspur on their way to Vaishali’s wedding without telling them anything about her job. Arora, smitten with Meera, agrees.

Soon after, Honey sees a policeman, Avtar Singh, harassing his truck driver on the side of the road and intervenes. When Avtar Singh insults his father, Honey hits him.

Honey also steals Avtar Singh’s police car to follow his friends when Jain chases after a thief in Honey’s beloved car and crashes it. This leads to all of them getting arrested.

Jain’s father finds out about his marriage to Radha as well as his arrest when Avtar Singh answers Jain’s phone. As expected, Jain’s father is enraged.

Jain, scared of eventually facing his father, gets into a fight with Honey, who then apologizes to Avtar Singh and pleads with him to let his friends go.

After being released, instead of leaving, Khanna and Arora manage to fool Avtar Singh and free Honey. Following their escape, they take Meera to Gurdaspur.

The gang leaders refuse to pay Meera what they owe her, so Meera tries to steal from them, putting herself and her companions in danger.

As the gang chases and shoots at them, Radha, who had unknowingly consumed Meera’s drugs, makes the gang’s cars crash by returning fire.

However, Khanna gets shot and has to be treated by a vet, who is the only doctor available. Khanna survives, but he and his friends are not out of danger yet, as the gang finds them.

Ending explained:

The group falls apart

The gang is after Meera, who never delivered the drugs to them and injured one of their leaders, but Meera is nowhere to be found.

Meera stole Paro and escaped. The gang kidnaps Radha, agreeing to release her only when Khanna, Honey, Jain, and Arora will bring them Meera.

Honey’s truck drivers do not take long to find Meera. While Khanna, Honey, and Arora go to get Meera, Jain decides to part ways with them.

Jain has had enough of his friends’ untamed adventures and does not care about rescuing Radha. He plans to return home now before he further angers his father.

The danger subsides

Khanna, Honey, and Arora rescue Radha by handing over Meera to the gang, but Arora, who has fallen in love with Meera, wants to rescue her as well.

He had the drugs that Meera had to deliver all along, and he now threatens to dispose of them if the gang does not let Meera go.

Arora accidentally disposes of the drugs, losing the only leverage he had over the gang. Just when the gang is about to kill him and his friends, Jain comes to their rescue.

Jain could not leave his friends when they were in trouble, so he came back. With his help, the group escapes and crashes yet another wedding.

They soon realize that they are at Vaishali’s wedding, their original destination. As the gang comes after them, Honey contacts Avtar Singh, who arrives just in time and rescues the group.

He arrests the gang but decides not to take Honey into custody again, as because of him, he was able to arrest a gang, which will earn him a promotion.

The road trip comes to an end

When Khanna meets Vaishali at the wedding, he finds himself unable to tell her that he is over her because he still loves her.

Vaishali is not happy to see him there and goes to complain to her fiancé about Khanna, only to catch her fiancé cheating on her.

Vaishali realizes that leaving Khanna for her fiancé was a mistake and asks Khanna to marry her then and there.

However, Khanna confronts her about cheating on him and finally tells her that he is over her. As Khanna and his friends celebrate accomplishing their goal, Meera kisses Arora and slips away.

The road trip not only helped Khanna overcome his heartbreak but also brought Jain closer to Radha. Additionally, Jain and Honey now consider each other friends.
