The third season of Ultraman ends with a new generation taking over SSSP. The mid-credits scene, on the other hand, shows the survival of some of the Ultramen’s former adversaries.
The mid-credits scene of Ultraman season 3 sees Zaraby spending time at a bar with Maya. Valkyura shows up moments later. Zaraby survived the battle between Edo and the Ultramen because he turned on Mephisto and Edo after learning that Mephisto would get rid of them once their job is done.
While carrying out his own investigation, Moroboshi runs into the dead body of one of Mephisto’s minions. Followed by him, Zaraby also reaches there to inform his subordinate about a new Ultraman.
Moroboshi keeps Zaraby captive as a witness to Mephisto’s plan. Now that Zaraby knows Mephisto is going to kill him as well, he decides to cooperate.
Zaraby is let go because he aids the Ultramen, especially when Moroboshi and Shinjiro attempt to break into the SSSP, which was surrounded by the local police.
Maya & Valkyura’s survival
Maya faked her death in the second season of the show while fighting Pedant’s minions. Hokuto was by her side back then.
While she was in his arms and he wasn’t facing her, she winked and pulled her tongue out, hinting that she isn’t exactly dying. That’s why she returned in the season 3 finale.
Ultraman season 3 doesn’t reveal how Valkyura survived. Mephisto kills her when she returns after being defeated by Shinjiro, Kotaro, and Rena. Valkyura says she is just good at playing dead, just like Maya.
Adad’s job
Adad arrives at the bar as the three rejoice. He pitches a job he has for them from the Star Cluster Council. Maya and Zaraby express that they are not interested, as no one has been able to defeat the Ultramen, and they just want to stay out of trouble.
Valkyura thinks otherwise. She likes trouble and is ready to hear the proposition. Adad teases that these battles will never end as long as Ultramen are still alive.
