TK Lee, aka Terrence Kang, is a major supporting character in The Brothers Sun. Joon Lee plays the character in the show.
TK Lee is a stoner and loves to game. He also sells drugs as a means of livelihood. When Bruce asks him to lend him a large sum of money, he recommends selling some drugs to the gang he works for.
He sells drugs for the triad called The White Cranes. The ill-advised profession ends as soon as it begins for Bruce, as he gets in trouble with The White Cranes before the Boxers attack the club to assassinate his brother Charles.
A fool’s dream
Even after all that, TK doesn’t stop dreaming way too big for his good. He wants to be a big-time name in the world of crime, not truly understanding what kind of perils it entails and what future it holds for him.
He strives for the stars in the world of crime with many stars already in his eyes.
Bruce tries to talk him out of it, but when he won’t listen or understand, Bruce brutally insults him and highlights the fact that he’s repeatedly failed to prove his mettle.

Bruce hopes these words will discourage him from the life of crime and he’ll survive. In the end, TK Lee returns, still adamant about helping Bruce and he ends up doing so too.
Proving his worth
Much as he is an ignorant and overtly optimistic fool, TK Lee does prove time and again that he can be perseverant.
He does break at the slightest bit of harsh treatment, revealing Bruce’s school to the police, and giving June Song the information about him too, which ends up costing him his own two thumbs later on.
He redeems himself bit by bit as the show progresses. He tries to officiate the meeting between Charles and the Korean gang that runs the town selected for the triad town.
However, he soon finds out he overestimated his clout and erroneously perceived his reputation, and his brother’s reputation around those parts to be positive.
The permission for the meeting between Sleepy Chan and Charles is ultimately given, but TK Lee is held by the Koreans as collateral.
Later on, he’s kidnapped by them when the meeting goes off the rails, thanks to an all-out battle at Ka Spa that breaks out due to the Boxers.
He’s made a plaything for psychos, as he’s tied down to a chair and held hostage in a golf course, where the gang members make his face into a grotesquely swollen mess by hitting him with the golf balls numerous times.
All of that doesn’t stop TK from his dreams and he’s shown at the end to boast about his embellished accounts of his bravery to a group of girls in a party.
