In Totally Killer, the Mollys is a group of teenage girls that includes Jamie’s mother, Pam Miller, Tiffany Clark, Marisa Song, and Heather Hernandez.
The Mollys are known for being mean and rude. They are total bullies. Molly Ringwald inspires the group’s name. All four of them are obsessed with her and even dress like her.
Lauren calls the whole group too horny, considering Tiffany’s relationship with Blake. The rumor says they cheat on each other all the time, which turns out to be true, as Tiffany is also dating Eddie Royal, the school’s rock star.
Pam further confirms Lauren’s claims, as she quickly starts pursuing Blake after Tiffany’s death upon finding out that she and Blake are meant to end up together.
The targets
All the members of the Mollys, except for Pam, are Sweet 16 Killer’s targets in the film. The Sweet 16 Killer kills Tiffany on her birthday on October 27, 1987. Two days later, the killer kills Marisa and then Heather on Halloween. The locations and sequence of these murders change when Jamie goes back in time and meddles with the events.
The Sweet 16 Killer is revealed to be Doug. While everyone wonders why Doug had been targeting them, Marisa discloses something terrible that the Mollys had done that might have encouraged Doug to come after them.
A year ago, Doug was dating a girl named Trish, who used to be bullied at school. There was a rumor that Trish had gotten intimate with Coach Zane. To figure out if it’s true, the Mollys pretended to be Trish’s friend and welcomed her for a sleepover.
During the sleepover, Tiffany got Trish drunk and asked her about the rumor constantly, even though she denied it. Eventually, she got upset and locked herself in a room.
Marisa likes to think that Trish must have informed Doug about what happened before leaving. The Mollys let Trish drive drunk, which resulted in Trish’s death.
Why is Pam spared?
Chris Dubasage created a fake note and made Jamie think that the Sweet 16 Killer had already planned to kill Pam one day. However, it is revealed that Doug never intended to kill Pam, and the note was fake.
Pam was not present at the sleepover, in which the Mollys bullied Trish and let her drive drunk. Pam had had a fight with Tiffany over the summer. Hence, they weren’t on speaking terms. Pam also confesses that she would never do something like that, even if she was present there.
