Plot summary:
Alicja, Zuzu, and Kinga have been staying with the other elders in Bieszczady before going their own ways and ending the gang.
Meanwhile, Alfred and Gujska have been raiding different locations around Our Town trying to find the gang and coming up empty.
Their public perception is going down the drain as the rest of the town openly cheers for the gang and their actions.
Maria has been secretly informing Igor of their whereabouts and he is working with Marzena so that she can get her revenge on the gang.
Before they could leave, Zuza gets a call from her son Tomek who says that he’s in the hospital.
She checks on him and her friends decide to stay behind and support her. Tomek was beaten up after falling into debt with the dangerous gangster Kryzysztof Masarz.
Zuza visits Masarz to pay off her son’s debt but says that has a proposal for her gang. He wants them to steal an art piece called the Venus of Kazakhstan for him.
Alfred is struggling with the case and the Chief threatens to shut down the precinct if there are more failures.
Then he starts getting letters from his departed mother advising him on how to proceed. Gujska is behind the letters so that Alfred will operate the way she needs him to.
Masarz offers the ladies a new base to plan their heist and Zuza brings Tomek in to help. They tell the others back in Bieszczady that they are on a job and need to be alone.
Unfortunately, the seniors track them down and everyone moves to the base with them. Maria feels bad for betraying the gang so she visits a priest to ask for forgiveness.
He tells her to do good deeds, and she finds a column in the newspaper dedicated to public requests made to the gang.
She pleads with the gang to take on one of these requests, and they realize that it might help with their heist.
They expose a supplement salesman who has been running a pyramid scheme and cheating seniors. After that, they take control of his warehouse and start tunneling.
There is a network of tunnels running under the city and they want to use one to get under the gallery exhibit for the heist.
To cover up the noise of the digging, they set up a club in the warehouse and moved the seniors there to make it seem like a senior center.
However, some youngsters walk in and blast the place on social media after enjoying the vibe and it gets more popular.
The seniors host activities during the day and it turns into a regular club in the evenings to party.
Alicja keeps having visions of the three of them in jail and she pulls out a tarot card telling her that she will be betrayed.
This makes her very paranoid and she suspects her friends too. Kinga has gotten bored of Henryk and avoids him as much as she can.
Masarz has got the police chief in his pocket and keeps Alfred and Gujska at a distance. They got to Marzena for help and got her out in exchange.
She figures out that the gang is going after the Venus and gets a job as the custodian in the gallery.
Masarz keeps a close eye on the gang’s activities and he finds similarities with Alicja. He asks her out on a date and she puts truth serum in the wine to get him to talk.
Marzena approaches Tomek and offers him money to turn on his mother. The chief suspends Gusjka but she continues to write letters for Alfred.
Kinga and Zuza catch Alicja having dinner with Masarz and confront after. They drink the wine too and are all brutally honest with each other.
Tomek tried to warn his mother but walked in just as she said that she believed he would turn out bad like his father.
He left before hearing the second part of the statement where she said that she loved him anyway.
The trio agrees to carry out the last job and then split up for good. Masarz calls Igor and says that he and the gang are dropping out of the heist.
He’s had a change of heart and has fallen for Alicja so he wants to spare them the risk. He orders that the tunnel be blown down.
Gusjka’s letter tells Alfred that he needs to raid the senior club and he finally gathers the courage to go against the chief and do it.
The gang tells the other seniors that they will be leaving urgently but the club will continue. Igor shows up and holds them hostage because she still wants the Venus.
Maria says that she found another route in the tunnels that lead to the basement of the gallery after she was wandering around looking for something to eat.
Ending explained:
A trap from the beginning
The gang carries out their plan as was intended by setting off a smoke bomb inside the gallery, except this time they enter from the basement.
Marzena knows what’s happening so she orders the guards to shut off the electricity and move away.
The artifact is stolen and while they’re heading back in the tunnel, Marzena gets a picture of them from a camera she planted.
She sends the picture to the media and calls the police.
Facing the piper
Igor gets what he wants and leaves before Alfred arrives with the police. The chief shows up to shut him down but Gusjka arrives with evidence of the chief’s corruption.
She takes over the scene and orders the gang to come out, which they follow. Tomek had sneaked out earlier during the chaos and escaped.
The gang is taken to jail as the media report that they stole the Venus. However, while they are being interrogated, the gallery calls the police.
They say that the artifact is in the basement with a note from the gang, so nothing was stolen.
Changing sides
They had created a fake of the artifact to originally replace it at the gallery, but they gave the fake to Igor instead.
The police tried to get them in for many of their other suspected crimes but the people involved spoke in support of the gang.
They finally decide to let the gang go on the condition that they work with the police in the future for Our Town.
The gang says that they want the real criminals to suffer for their crimes too. Marzena gets her freedom from helping the police, but she is taken back in because she is still a criminal.
The seniors turn the club into a senior co-housing project. Masarz spends some time away but eagerly awaits getting back to Alicja.
Kinga and Henryk split up after realizing that they are not meant for each other. Tomek returns and reconciles with his mother.
The gang continues living in the house that Masarz gave them, and Alfred has a giant light installed like the ‘bat-signal’ to summon them whenever they are needed.
