Sonya Falsworth is an SIS agent operating out of Moscow, and someone who has a long history with Nick Fury. The character is played by Olivia Coleman.
When Fury first arrives in Moscow, he decides to go for a walk and is picked up by strange men in suits. He’s taken to Sonya who wonders aloud what Fury is doing there out in the open.
She also comments on his waning skills as he was picked up so easily, displaying a familiarity and shared past. Despite having a common enemy, Sonya is quite guarded against sharing information with Fury so he places a bug in her office to spy on her.
Problems of her own
When Brogan is captured by the Russians, Sonya visits him to take over the interrogation and find out where the Skrull base is. She manages to find out about Dr. Rosa Dalton before she is forced to leave because of Gravik’s arrival.
She eventually discovers Fury’s bug and when he contacts her regarding Gravik’s plan to bomb a UN plane, she gives him the information but mentions that she’s got other infiltration issues as well.
Sonya drops in on her boss Derrik and exposes him as a Skrull before getting the location of Dr. Dalton out of him. She goes to Dr. Dalton’s house and takes her prisoner while burning down her lab, causing a disruption in the Skrull plans.
Later on, she picks up Fury in Finland to take him to the location of the Harvest, and also learns that Rhodey is a Skrull after she inadvertently gave him satellite images of New Skrullos just as Gravik had planned.
