Seo Jun-Hee: Strong Girl Nam-Soon character explained

Seo Jun-Hee is a major supporting character in the comedy-drama Strong Girl Nam-Soon. The character is played by Jung Bo-Suk.

Gil Joong-Gan has been spending her days romantically vying for more than what she has. Her husband went away, leaving the family, to far-off and remote regions for spiritual reasons.

While he got busy finding himself, Gil Joong-Gan gradually stopped caring for him. Then came a point at which she just considered him as good as dead to her.

When a new hot barista catches her eyes, the romantic drought that has plagued her life for so long finally sees some heavy clouds of hope and love. Enter Seo Jun-Hee.

A dashing barista

Seo Jun-Hee is about Gil Joong-Gan’s age but keeps himself at the top of his game when it comes to physical upkeep.

He’s naturally very handsome and it definitely catches Gil Joong-Gan’s eyes first. She is smitten by his looks and mannerisms. So much so that she acts like a teenager in front of him.

Jun-Hee is also as well-mannered and courteous as he is handsome. That only adds to his charisma, and Joong-Gan is all the more on board and eager to date him. She begins by having coffee with him, that he himself made.

The two eventually get it on and Jun-Hee observes Joong-Gan’s qualities that attract him as well. Soon, he’s as much crazy for her as she is for him.

The two love birds begin their romantic affair in secret before it is revealed to Joong-Gan’s family members. The two don’t budge, though, and are adamant about what they want with each other and what they’re prepared to do for each other.

Man of virtues and values

Seo Jun-Hee is a solid person with values and ideals. Not to mention he’s also a loving family man who cares for his daughter with utmost intensity, which is made evident when he gets horrified at his daughter getting scammed by deepfake creators.

He rushes to the police and wants to do whatever he can, as fast as he can do it. He’s helped by Joong-Gan, who uses her resources and powers to take down the scammers. This only solidifies their relationship.

When Joong-Gan’s husband returns to Korea, the love birds get scared to continue to flap their wings free of care. Jang-Goon succumbs to others’ expectations and the role she must play as a wife and a mother.

She worries that she can’t be with Seo Jun-Hee but he assures her that he would work out a way to be with her. He dresses up and pays a visit to her husband at the hospital, telling him that he’s Joong-Gan’s boyfriend.

A fight breaks out between the two and Jun-Hee doesn’t relent, fighting to make his love for Joong-Gan clear, and later he goes to meet her and gets on his knees, confessing his love for her.
