Pasin is a major supporting character in A Shop for Killers, the Disney+ Kdrama following a young girl being attacked by assassins after her mysterious uncle’s death. Kim Min plays the character in the show.
Many people want Jeong Ji-An dead after her mysterious uncle Jin-Man died under mysterious circumstances.
Though her uncle prepared her all her life for the worst of situations where her life is threatened, she can only do so much against an army of assassins armed to their teeth.
She needs help and she does get it from a group of people, and her old Muay Thai teacher is one of them.
A mentor most eccentric
Pasin is an eccentric by all accounts. From the way he talks to the mannerisms both small and big, he’s quite a character no matter what situation it is.
When it comes to physical abilities, he’s very nonchalant in the expenditure of his effort.
Fighting with a total beginner like Ji-An doesn’t warrant anything special for a pro like him but it’s obvious from the way he moves, blocks, and attacks that he is a highly skilled fighter.
Pasin runs a restaurant where a lot of migrants come to eat and have a good time.
He’s also a Muay Thai fighter and when Ji-An comes to him for fighting lessons, he asks for a heavy price.

He tells her that he has a son he has to put in private school, and for that, he needs all the money he can get.
All that Ji-An can manage with her two jobs, she has to give him as the tuition fees. By the end of their sessions, he’s made a competent fighter out of Ji-An.
She is not capable of doing anything too heroic but she later does take down two men while keeping another one at bay.
Meanwhile, Pasin enjoys the lessons and is shown to be happy with the progress she has made.
Sketchy goodbyes
Pasin leaves out of nowhere, but only after Ji-An’s sessions are over.
However, while she might be happy with him and the time she spent with him learning how to fight, other customers of his shop aren’t.
It is because he had taken a lot of money from a lot of people, and then he left and went away all of a sudden, taking everyone’s money with him.
Whether it was due to his child’s future’s sake, or something else, is not revealed in the story thus far. However, he does leave a note for Ji-An before he dips.
Now that Jin-Man is dead and since he was his colleague from long ago, Pasin is bound to come back and help protect Jeong Ji-An from the league of assassins hell-bent on killing her.
