In Furies, Parques is the head of the underworld assassins and Selma’s rival. Alex Brendemühl plays Parques.
Lyna meets Parques at the Olympus’ base. Parques is a ruthless assassin who shows no mercy. The Fixer warns Lyna not to meddle with him.
However, the moment Lyna sees Parques mishandling a waiter at the Olympus’, Lyna intervenes and is shown her place by Parques.
Parques knows Selma’s time is coming to an end. He firmly believes that the underworld needs his army, not Selma, who is more of a vigilante as a Fury.
In the series, Parques is constantly looking to replace the Fury. Hence, he sees Lyna, who is Selma’s heir, as a threat.
Replacing Selma
When Driss fakes Selma’s death, Parques rushes to replace Selma and prove that he is far better than Lyna, who claims the title of the Fury.
Lyna figures out Driss’ next target, the Duke’s Town House, but it’s Parques who makes the first move and takes out Driss’ soldiers with his army before Driss’ soldiers can even enter the place.
Parques reminds Lyna that she will never be a Fury, whereas the Godfathers start seeing him as a compatible replacement for Selma. They choose him over calling Damocles for a favor.
Partnering with Driss and his death
Lyna and her team do wonder how Parques was able to take out Driss’ soldiers without any help.
That’s when they realize that Parques is in cahoots with Driss. Having someone on the inside helps Driss with his goal and access the information the Olympus has. Hence, Driss has struck a deal with Parques and has helped him replace Selma.
With the help of Orso, who betrays Parques, Lyna kills Parques by tricking him. While Parques doesn’t tell Lyna anything, his mobile phone gives her what Driss is after.
