Madam Ju’s daughter, Noh Su-ahn, stands by her brother’s side in his fight against Do-hee. In My Demon, Lee Yoon-ji plays Su-ahn.
Noh Su-ahn is Madam Ju’s second child. She is obsessed with Paris and likes to pretend that she lives there, which earns her the nickname Parisu-ahnne.
Her husband is a professor at an Ivy League school, and he rarely shows up, leaving Su-ahn to raise her twin sons, Austin and Justin, by herself.
Su-ahn’s dislike of Do-hee
Like Noh Suk-min, Madam Ju does not hold much love for Su-ahn. Madam Ju is not proud of her children because she is well aware that they are not good people.
On the other hand, Madam Ju adores Do-hee. She loves Do-hee more than Su-ahn, and Su-ahn cannot help but be jealous of her.
Su-ahn tries to take a hit at Do-hee’s company by spreading fake news about her company’s products, causing a decline in the company’s stock value.
Do-hee knows who is behind this and confronts Su-ahn about it. Do-hee also knows that Su-ahn is cheating on her husband, and she has proof to back up her claims.
If the news becomes public, Su-ahn’s company, Mirae Apparel, will suffer losses. Do-hee will not hesitate to leak the news about her affairs if Su-ahn does not do damage control.
Su-ahn is forced to take down the article that she had published to harm Do-hee’s company because she cannot risk her mother finding out about her affairs.
What Su-ahn does not know is that her mother already knows all about her affairs and that she disapproves of Su-ahn’s choices.
Siding with her brother
When Madam Ju dies, Su-ahn doesn’t feel upset; instead, she is excited, hoping that her mother has named her as the next chairperson of the Mirae Group.
The awareness that her children have been ruined by money led to Madam Ju naming Do-hee as her successor instead of her children.
When Su-ahn learns about this, her dislike of Do-hee intensifies, and she dismisses Do-hee’s claims that Madam Ju was murdered.
Su-ahn would prefer her brother to become the chairperson rather than Do-hee, so she supports him in his efforts to usurp the position, unaware that her brother has gone so far as to take lives.
When Do-hee finally gives up the position, Su-ahn does not celebrate, as she keeps suspecting that Do-hee has ulterior motives.
It is only after Suk-min becomes the chairperson and forces Do-gyeong to take the blame for Madam Ju’s murder that Su-ahn realizes that Do-hee was right all along.
Su-ahn’s distress over the fact that her mother was murdered does not last long because her brother knows how to manipulate her into siding with him.
He informs her that Do-gyeong’s death leaves Su-ahn’s sons as the only future heirs of the Mirae Group, and just like that, Su-ahn forgets about her mother’s murder.
Unaware that her brother is a murderer, she remains oblivious to the extreme lengths he will go to get what he wants and continues supporting him.
