In My Demon, Do-hee suspects Noh Do-gyeong, Madam Ju’s grandson, of trying to kill her. Kang Seung-ho plays Noh Do-gyeong.
Noh Do-gyeong is Suk-min and Se-ra’s only child. As Madam Ju was not fond of her children and grandchildren, Do-gyeong learned to become invisible at a very young age to save himself from her relentless criticism.
Madam Ju knows that her family is full of ruthless people, and Do-gyeong seems to be no different. However, there is a reason behind why Do-gyeong, who avoids drawing attention, has become this way.
Madam Ju’s unhinged grandson
Do-gyeong is the kind of man who thinks he can get away with anything. Whenever he gets annoyed or angry, he beats up people without thinking about the consequences.
Do-gyeong is receiving treatment for a mental illness, but he does not even hesitate to beat his doctor to a pulp at the slightest provocation.
Do-gyeong thinks that his father, who is Madam Ju’s oldest son, will inherit the Mirae Group and everything that Madam Ju owns once she dies. As Do-gyeong is his father’s only child, all that wealth and power will be Do-gyeong’s one day.
This gives him a motive to kill Madam Ju. At the funeral, he admits to Do-hee that his grandmother’s death is a happy occasion.
Do-hee starts suspecting him of killing Madam Ju and trying to kill her when she sees him smiling manically at her wedding.
A murder suspect
Do-hee and Gu-won then tail Do-gyeong to find out whether he is the one who hired Do-hee’s attacker. The two of them eavesdrop on a conversation between Do-gyeong and his friend.
They come to know that these days, Do-gyeong has been losing control more often and attacking people left, right, and center.
When his friend warns him that he might end up killing somebody, Do-gyeong looks unperturbed. He does not care even if he kills someone.
On top of that, it is revealed that Do-gyeong might know something about the attempts on Do-hee’s life and Madam Ju’s death. The man who keeps attacking Do-hee is working for someone who goes by the alias ABRAXAS.

The attacker had left a paper bag in a public locker at a subway station for ABRAXAS. While following Do-gyeong, Do-hee and Gu-won are led to the same storage locker. Do-gyeong opens the locker and is disappointed to find it empty.
It is also revealed that Cha Tae-jun, the man who was killed after he contacted Do-hee to tell her something important, worked for Do-gyeong for two years before he transferred to Mirae Group.
Do-gyeong’s death
It turns out that Do-gyeong knew about the attacker because he had been keeping an eye on his father, who is behind Madam Ju’s murder and the attacks on Do-hee.
Do-gyeong is abused by Suk-min, and due to years of abuse, he suffers from intermittent explosive disorder, extreme anxiety, and depression.
Eventually, Suk-min finds out that Do-gyeong has been keeping an eye on him. After hurting Do-gyeong, he asks him to kill Do-hee.
Do-gyeong fails and Gu-won regains his powers, so Suk-min forces Do-gyeong to take the blame for Madam Ju’s death and the attacks on Do-hee to save himself.
Do-gyeong goes to prison. When his mother visits him, she blames him for the abuse that he had to endure at his father’s hands. Do-gyeong, hurt by both his parents, takes his life in prison.
