#NoFilter (Sem Filtro) follows Marcely, a college dropout who goes against her mother and the general consensus to become an Instagram influencer.

Plot summary
Marcely decides to swerve her course of life drastically and ditches college to become an Instagram influencer. Her mother Val is furious and orders her to get back to college if she wishes to go ahead with her online shenanigans and Marcely agrees.
Her first challenge is to find a place to Livestream. She eventually finds her first gig as a promotion which she eventually botches up since she can’t compromise with her real feelings about the product she has to promote.
And so Marcely’s influencer identity and mantra become all about having no filters. Later, she and Sandrinha’s influencer idol and role model, Pi Love, decide to visit Max’s barbershop but her late arrival is met with doors closed to the shop while Marcely and her friends celebrate and party together, unaware of Pi Love’s arrival.
Meanwhile, she messes up a lot of her sources of income in an honest rant on a livestream while drunk. After she tries and salvages that situation, her first hater arrives at the scene and while she gets worked up about it, Gustavo and Sandrinha celebrate, since they take it as a sign of online growth.
Marcely’s next adventure entails getting involved in the local election and working to make the deserving candidate the victor. Next up, Marcely wins a makeover by none other than Pi Love, but the experience ends up changing Marcely into someone she isn’t, and as a result, her relationship with her idol becomes sour.
Thereafter, she and Sandrinha have a spat and swap each other’s accounts under a bet. The winner is who gains more followers in the given time. However, the end of their competition sees them reconciling and putting their silly differences aside.
When a tragedy strikes Ararinhas, the residents organize a memorium at the funeral. As expected, the sad situation turns into hilarity in no time.
Marcely and Pi Love encounter each other on a getaway to where Marcely’s ex-boyfriend has invited her. Max, Rubria, and Gustavo accompany her and shortly, Marcely realizes that Ricky’s old habits are still alive, following which she leaves him again and reconciles with Pi Love.
Marcely finally musters up the courage to ask Max out on a date but her plans are ruined after her father drops by, followed by a battalion of family and friends later on.
The childhood crushes are subjected to more torment and finally a dire circumstance where Max has to go on a work trip for 3 months.
With the help of family and friends, Marcely manages to confess her love to Max, for which she finally goes viral as well, before #NoFilter concludes its first season.

How does Marcely go viral?
Marcely and Max have a will-they-won’t-they relationship throughout #NoFilter, which finally culminates into a classic rom-com airport finale. Marcely races against the time to catch up to Max, who’s departing for New York.
With the help of Pi Love, her family, and friends, Marcely makes it to the airport and even makes it past security. However, Max is not to be found anywhere until Marcely does spot him behind a thick glass screen.
Silly Max has his phone battery running extremely low which calls it quits before Marcely can confess her love. Meanwhile, the announcer calls for him to board the flight, and he has to.
Saddened and disappointed, Marcely decides to send him a video instead, while Sandrinha puts her confession on livestream. Max watches the video and can’t control his happiness.
#NoFilter ends with Marcely being away from Max but finding new enthusiasm and happiness in the news that Sandrinha breaks to her. As it turns out, the livestream that saw her confession to Max goes viral, gaining her 75,000 followers which only keeps increasing by the thousands.
What happens to Val and Romualdo?
Val and Romualdo are a divorced couple at the beginning of #NoFilter, but their banter and little fights make it obvious that they still have quite a lot of chemistry.
It’s soon revealed that the reason for their separation was Romualdo’s laziness, one thing that the hardworking Val is shown to hate most. However, Romualdo more than makes up for his lousy traits with his golden heart and compassion that he continuously exudes.
They soon start having an affair that they keep secret from the rest of the family and friends. However, in the last episode of #NoFilter, they come clean about it to Marcely, Lohana, and Rubria, announcing that they’re getting back together.
Do Marcely and Pi Love patch things up?
Marcely idolizes Pi Love, a successful Instagram influencer. Sandrinha is even more of a fanatic of Pi Love and remains a diehard fan throughout the series. Meanwhile, Marcely has some encounters and experiences that sour Pi Love’s image in her mind.
Their relationship has a rift that’s eventually repaired at Marcely’s ex-boyfriend, Ricky’s kiosk where he’s invited them to promote his new business. They are united against the exploitative Ricky and finally hug it out.
Pi Love becomes really amicable and at the end of #NoFilter, she even helps Marcely significantly through her clout and fame, getting her past the security at the airport so that she can confess her love to Max.
