Nazli is one of the supporting characters in the second season of the Turkish drama, As the Crow Flies, playing a pivotal role in the drastic developments throughout the story. The character is played by Rüya Andaç.
Asli emerges as the victor after the first season of As the Crow Flies, having raved past Lale and others to become the host of The Other Side on the MON5 network.
In season 2, she has to prove herself again and again as a secret traitor who keeps sabotaging her job and the show. Eventually, she comes to learn the identity of this saboteur, and it is none other than her assistant, Nazli.
The sabotages
Nazli is Asli’s eager and loyal assistant who rarely leaves her side at the workplace. From the socials to the communications, as well as the wardrobe — she takes on all kinds of jobs for Asli.
Not to mention her starry-eyed admiration for Asli, which she makes clear several times as she sings her praises whenever she can. However, she is secretly a saboteur who intends to take her place one day.
In season 2, Nazli leaks the photos of the dilapidated house that Asli used to live in earlier. She tells Asli that it must have been the landlord who begrudgingly did it.
Later, she drives a wedge between Aski and Müge, by planting the latter’s jacket at Lale’s party, and then clicking its pictures and showing them to Asli, making it look like Müge is the traitor and has been playing both sides.
The final spell
Asli fires Müge after confirming her suspicions but later, she gets suspicious after a fake rumor about herself — that she created to test Müge — manages to surface online even after Müge didn’t properly know about it.
Asli figures out that Nazli is her traitor and confronts her about it. Nazli finally shows her true colors and tells Asli she will get on top and snatch the spot from her the same way she did to Lale.
She pour hot coffee on herself and makes it look like that Asli did it. This turns into a big case as people believe Asli is indeed an abusive boss, but a good lawyer’s help manages to avert the legal crisis.
It’s revealed that Nazli had pulled similar stunts and schemes in the past as well.
