In After Everything, Natalie is an ex-girlfriend of Hardin who now lives in Lisbon, Portugal. Mimi Keene plays Natalie.
Natalie currently works at a bridal shop in Lisbon. She moved here after losing her scholarship with everything going on in her life.
She didn’t have time to apply for a student loan, and her support system was conditional. She picked Lisbon because it’s a sunny and affordable place, and nobody knows her here.
Hardin goes to Lisbon to move forward in life. He especially hopes to meet Natalie to make amends for a mistake he made, because of which Natalie had to suffer.
Natalie and Hardin’s past
Natalie and Hardin first crossed paths when the former visited the garage of one of his friends.
Hardin accepted a bet, claiming that he could get Natalie. Hardin’s friend, James, promises to return Hardin’s father’s watch, which Hardin lost during a game of cards, if he does succeed, but James also wants proof.

Hardin makes Natalie fall for him. While they are getting intimate, he convinces her to let him record them.
Hardin sends the video to James, who, in turn, ends up circulating the video to everyone. The experience ruins Natalie’s life.
Natalie’s fate
Natalie no longer holds anything against Hardin. She becomes good friends with him again.
Natalie assures him that seeing him change is enough. Hardin, who feels guilty, still apologizes to her for lying.
Natalie attempts to kiss Hardin, who stops her and clarifies that he is still in love with Tessa.
Spending time with Natalie takes Hardin back to his past and helps him write his next novel, which he titles Before.
However, Hardin learns from his mistakes and lets Natalie read it first so that she can give him permission to send it to his publisher.
After reading the book, Natalie not only permits him but also calls the book beautiful and wishes him luck with Tessa.
In the end, Hardin seemingly gifts Natalie the dream house with a view that she talked about with him on a boat.
