Nadya Keïta: Furies (2024) character explained

In Furies, Nadya Keïta is the only police officer who believes the Fury is real and wants to take her down. Eye Haidara plays Nadya.

Nadya Keïta is the cop who brings Lyna into custody after the latter’s father’s death. Nadya recognizes the signature style Lyna’s father is killed in, which belongs to the Fury.

She interrogates Lyna, hoping to find answers. However, when Lyna fails to help her, Lyna is put in prison for six months by Nadya for the money she possesses, which was sent by her father.

Nadya has a brother named Thomas. For 15 years, she has been made fun of for believing in the Fury. Following Lyna’s steps confirms that the Fury exists and Nadya plans to prove herself by bringing the Fury in.

Things get personal

Nadya is ready to go above and beyond to take the Fury down. When she finds Lyna escaping from Mamaland with a document, Nadya figures out that she is working for the Fury. After all, the Fury hasn’t killed her yet.

Nadya asks Lyna to hand over the Fury to her. To compel Lyna to do so, she uses Elie, Lyna’s boyfriend, who is put in prison.

Lyna uses Thomas against Nadya

Lyna isn’t someone to back down. She answers by targeting Nadya’s brother, Thomas. She pretends to date him, which will always give her an opening to kill him. This prompts Nadya to let Elie go.

Nadya’s death

To stop Driss, Lyna calls the cops on them, leading to the arrests of Lyna, Selma, and Driss. Nadya leads this operation.

However, not long after their arrests, they are attacked by Parques’ soldiers, and while defending themselves at a house in the woods, Nadya is severely injured.

Nadya lets Driss go with Parques’ phone, which he needs, but she is adamant about arresting the Fury and making Lyna pay.

The fact that Lyna messed with her brother has wrecked Nadya. She is close to shooting Lyna to death when Elie shoots and kills Nadya.

Elie carries the guilt of killing a police officer, and watching her brother learn the news about his sister’s death hurts Elie more.
