When Bae’s criticism of Satyajit goes viral on social media, a woman calling herself Anamika contacts her to give her a story.
Anamika believes that Bae is a fearless journalist. Although she does not trust Bae’s superiors, she trusts Bae to stand by the truth.
Anamika accuses Mukul Sawla of harassing her and asks Bae to cover the story but refrains from revealing her identity, even to Bae.
Bae wants to bring Anamika’s story to the public, but Neel insists that she verify all the facts first. Bae must now uncover Anamika’s real identity to get the story out.
Enduring harassment
With the help of her friends, Bae quickly discovers that the famous actor Madhulika Sahay is Anamika. When Bae visits her, Madhulika shares her story with her.
At seventeen, Madhulika had just arrived in Mumbai from Siliguri. Being too young to navigate the industry, she ended up in an adult film when she was still a minor.
Madhulika later landed better projects and became a successful actor. To ensure that no one ever found out about the adult film, she bought all the copies of the adult film from the market.
However, Sawla managed to get a copy. Sawla’s company provides free SIM cards to women, allowing him access to their data and enabling him to stalk Madhulika.
He has been harassing her, demanding that she sleep with him. He even promised to make her the biggest star in the country in exchange for sexual favours.
Sawla is a powerful man with influence over the authorities, so to pressure Madhulika, he ordered raids on her boyfriend Tarun Kapoor.
When even that did not work, Sawla threatened to leak the adult film. If the public finds out about the film, Madhulika will lose both her career and her relationship with Tarun.
Tarun, who comes from a family of successful actors, already faces disapproval for dating Madhulika. His family would never allow him to marry her if they learned about the film.
Tired of the harassment, Madhulika decided to expose Sawla through Bae. Madhulika reveals that Sawla is still blackmailing her by sending her clips from the film every day.
The courage to tell her story
Bae shows Madulika her support and convinces her to publicly accuse Sawla of sexual harassment. Madulika agrees to do so only after Bae deletes the film from Sawla’s laptop.
Despite Bae and her friends’ best efforts, they fail to find and delete the film from Sawla’s computer, leaving Madhulika disappointed.
Bae tries again to convince Madhulika to tell Tarun everything and expose Sawla without fearing her past coming to light.
Tarun overhears this conversation, and Madhulika is forced to tell him everything. Tarun not only understands but also supports her after finding out about the harassment.
With the support of Bae and Tarun, Madhulika shares her story on social media and accuses Sawla, no longer afraid of her past or his threats.
Madhulika’s courage inspires other women to come forward with their own stories. Later, after Bae confronts Sawla on live television, he finally faces the consequences of his actions.
