In Totally Killer, Damon, also known as Lurch, is Trish’s brother. Jamie sees him as one of the suspects who can be the Sweet 16 Killer. Zach Gibson plays a teenage Lurch, while Brendan O’Brien plays an adult Lurch.
Jamie begins suspecting Lurch when she is paired up with him during a class. Lurch has a book that is filled with drawings and words about shooting and killing others.
Later, Jamie asks Pam, Marisa, and Heather about Lurch, and they reveal that he is Trish’s brother. No one really talks to Lurch. He spent all of his eighth grade in a juvenile center because he kept getting into too many fights.
Lurch then missed most of last year because of Trish’s death. Hence, he is now the oldest in Pam’s class. The fact that Lurch is so violent and has lost a sister who was bullied at school makes Jamie see Lurch as a suspect.
Is Lurch the killer?
Jamie’s suspicions about Lurch grow when she sees his truck, which was parked outside Tiffany’s house the night Tiffany was murdered. When Lurch is not around, Jamie breaks into his truck, hoping to find some evidence against him.
Lurch catches Jamie and tries to throw her out. He suspects that Jamie is here to steal his video games. He quickly backs off after getting kicked by Jamie.
Upon being asked, Lurch confesses that he was outside Tiffany’s house because he wanted to join the party. He had been trying to build up courage by listening to Meat Loaf so that he could go inside.
Lurch knows that people think he is scary, but he claims that he is not the killer. Lurch also clears another suspect, Eddie Royal, who was making out with Tiffany before her death.
Lurch reveals that Eddie told him about his experience with Tiffany. It turns out that Eddie left when Tiffany didn’t agree to try what he wanted to.
Later on, Doug is revealed to be the Sweet 16 Killer, not Lurch or Eddie. It is believed that Doug was avenging Trish, who was his girlfriend, by killing the Mollys who bullied her and let her drive drunk, which saw her getting into an accident.
The fate of Lurch at the end of the film
Lurch had expressed his dream of creating video games someday. He took note of Doug’s love for a game called Death Wish 3, in which, when a player kills someone, the target explodes into pink mist.
In the future Jamie has changed, Lurch founded a video game empire called Pink Mist Games. He also started an anti-bullying organization in honor of his sister, Trish.
