Lucas is a potential love interest for Lana in Mother of the Bride. Chad Michael Murray plays the character.
Lucas Campion is a doctor at Geffen Hospital in Los Angeles and when he first hears Lana’s name, he immediately recognizes her.
He asks her out for a drink under the guise of talking business and Janice accepts his offer on Lana’s behalf.
During the date, he mentions that his friends forced him to go on a vacation which is why he is there.
Lana does find him attractive but she isn’t ready to try out something with someone so much younger than her.
Lucas checks with Will if there are some unresolved matters between him and Lana and Will says he has nothing to worry about.
Right place, wrong time
He runs into Lana and her friends often and he mentions that he’s volunteering at the local clinic because he’s such a workaholic.
Lana left their date early the first time so Lucas asks her to dinner so that they can try again.
However, Lana argues with Emma earlier that day and gets stranded at Lover’s Cove with Will after that.
By the time they are found and brought back to the resort, Lucas’ patient runs out. He says that she and Will are meant for each other and he cannot get in between.
He gives her his number and tells her that if things do go sideways, she can reach out to him for another go.
