Leila Collier: Death and Other Details character explained

In Death and Other Details, Leila Collier is the wife of Anna Collier. Pardis Saremi plays Leila.

Leila is a retired clickbait journalist, joining Anna on the Varuna for the celebration of Lawrence Collier’s retirement.

Leila’s nature

Being with Leila isn’t an easy task. Since an accident, Leila has grown paranoid. She constantly fears that someone is following her or that she is always being watched.

To ensure her safety, Leila always takes adequate measures, which involve staying away from technology or looking for hidden devices in her room.

Leila doesn’t fully cooperate during the investigation

Leila notices all of Trubitsky’s moves and suspects that he has been following her. Her paranoia drives her to investigate Trubitsky and find out that the person is using a fake name.

After Trubitsky’s death and Rufus’s interrogation, Leila goes missing. Imogene spots her with a knife and follows her into a secret passage, where she finds Jules instead.

Leila’s findings

Anna is desperately looking for her wife because she suspects that Leila might have killed Trubitsky out of fear for her safety.

After all, Leila was gone the night Trubitsky died as well. Leila claims that she had gone for a walk.

Leila resurfaces at the end of the fourth episode in front of Rufus Cotesworth to reveal that the person they have caught, Winnie, is just a follower of the real killer.

Leila’s paranoia has worked in her favor. She knows about Danny and quite a lot more, including about Viktor Sams, the person who possibly killed Imogene’s mother.
