Leen: Tahir’s House character explained

In Tahir’s House, Leen is a fashion designer and Karim’s friend. She is the one who tells Youssef about Habsa. Rand Alqusaibi plays Leen.

Leen runs Leen Couture and is a very good friend of Karim, though Karim does not think likewise. Leen often finds ways to make Karim stay. She has been chasing him for two years. According to Karim, she is way too clingy.

Youssef first hears about Habsa from Leen. Her uncle is becoming the president of the Traditional Medicine Agency, and they will be listing a plant called Habsa legally soon.

Everyone sees Leen as crazy, as she is difficult to deal with. However, a little internet search suggests that Leen isn’t lying. This sees Youssef deciding to sell Habsa first and make a lot of money.

Youssef and Karim approach Leen for help with her connection. Leen, being a businesswoman, asks to be made a partner and is willing to accept a smaller share of their company’s profits.

Leen and Karim’s relationship

Leen and Karim are both orphans, and Leen feels that she can relate to Karim. While the Tahirs are setting up their business, Leen creates problems a few times, but Youssef admits that they are going to have to deal with such people.

Leen also develops her relationship with Karim, who now has to meet her regularly because she is an important part of this business. Leen even stands up for Karim when he feels like he is being mistreated by the Tahirs to the point where he doesn’t want to start a family.

Leen ends up canceling Youssef’s appointment with her uncle to teach the Tahirs a lesson. Fortunately, Youssef and Karim are able to convince her that they are just bad at expressing their love, and hence, conversations can be harsh sometimes in their family.

What happens to Leen?

In the finale of Tahir’s House, it is revealed that Leen and Karim get engaged. However, Leen costs the Tahirs their business and her uncle his job.

She shoots a teaser for their Habsa business that accidentally goes live on social media before they can receive a permit. The matter is investigated, Leen’s uncle is fired, and the authority is dissolved, which means the Tahirs won’t get the permit to sell Habsa.

The Tahir family is then forced to give up on this business opportunity by burning all of the Habsa they have grown.
