Lancelot Norman: Rising Impact character explained

Lancelot Norman is a prodigious golfer who is considered the best young golfer in the country. Yumiri Hanamori and Keiran Regan voice the character.

Gawain gets lost when he goes to Tokyo and decides to follow Lancelot after seeing a bag of golf clubs with him.

Lancelot goes up to the putting grounds and showcases his immense talent while Gawain struggles to see the importance of putting.

Gawain is then taken to Kiria’s house but when he turns to thank Lancelot, the boy is gone.

Lancelot sees Gawain again and is impressed with his drive, but says that he cannot compete in a proper game of golf.

He then handily beats Gawain in a putting contest and inspires Gawain to learn the importance of every stroke.

Lancelot studies in the same school as Gawain and is well renowned for his skill in the game.

Hard work and dedication

Gawain goes head to head with Lancelot Norman at his first golfing tournament and Kiria already knows him because she is friends with his sister Kajury.

Lancelot possesses one of the twin peaks of talent, the shining road ability. Whenever he gets ready for a put, he sees a clear path to the bucket in the form of a shining gold path.

Kajury also possesses this ability and Kiria is aware of it. Mr. Bentley says that shining road and rising impact are two legendary abilities that are rarely found in golfers.

Lancelot wins the tournament but refuses the chance to join the Camelot Academy because he is worried about Kajury.

She lost her eyesight and is awaiting surgery that might help her get it back. Lancelot visits Camelot to see what kind of competition he would face there and is challenged by Kuromine.

She is the best putter at the academy and wants to test herself against the person who is considered the best in the country.

She loses to him and is pushed to practice harder. After Kajury’s surgery, Lancelot transfers to Camelot to challenge himself and immediately asks to be on the Camelot Cup team.

The others are shocked at his boldness but Kuromine agrees to take him on. She has improved and puts his earlier victory down to talent.

Lancelot defeats her once again after a grueling contest and takes offense at her comments. He says that he trained just as hard, if not harder than her every day.

That is why he is considered one of the best, and it is not just because of his incredible ability.

Lancelot enjoys a challenge and doesn’t underestimate Gawain even though he is confident that he is the better golfer.
