In Daily Dose of Sunshine, Jung Ha-ram is a hostile patient who accuses Da-eun of stealing money from her. Kwon Han-sol plays Jung Ha-ram.
Da-eun faces Jung Ha-ram’s wrath after looking for sharp objects near her bed. Da-eun doesn’t find anything in Jung Ha-ram’s wardrobe locker, but Ha-ram still accuses Da-eun of stealing her 30 million won.
Ha-ram continues to harass Da-eun for a while. She keeps demanding her 30 million won, goes as far as to write on the walls of the corridors that Da-eun is a thief who stole her money, and even attacks Da-eun.
Despite all of that, Da-eun keeps wanting to treat Ha-ram and not abandon her. However, a point comes when Da-eun breaks down. She begins hating Ha-ram and hates herself for feeling that way because a nurse is not supposed to hate anyone in her care.
Ha-ram’s past
Ha-ram has been showing delusional symptoms since being the victim of a voice-phishing scam that took all her money. Ha-ram was poor and desperate. She used to survive on one bowl of noodles for two days and used to struggle to get a job.
Ha-ram was also late paying her rent. She opted to do menial work to survive until she got a real job. Even though her nice boss handed her money to take a taxi whenever she got late, she saved that money too.

Eventually, she gets a call for a job. She sends the details and the documents the employer needs. A happy Ha-ram informs her mother of the good news. She heads to an ATM to withdraw some money, only to find out that her balance is now 0 won.
Ha-ram tried to kill herself before being brought to Myungshin University Medical Center. She can’t pay her hospital bills and will be relying on government aid for her treatment.
Do Ha-ram and Da-eun fix their differences?
Da-eun takes Mr. Yoon’s advice and talks to Ha-ram as if she is a friend of hers, not a patient. Ha-ram’s story makes Da-eun emotional too. Ha-ram soon moves on and asks Da-eun to help her open a bank account so that she can start saving money again.
Da-eun takes Ha-ram to the bank with her. Ha-ram opens her bank account. Depositing some money and seeing her balance makes Ha-ram happy again. She manages to find some hope again after all that she has been through.
