In XO, Kitty, Juliana is Yuri’s girlfriend who is forced to leave KISS and Yuri when their parents find out about their relationship. Regan Aliyah plays the role of Juliana.
Everyone believes Juliana and Yuri are friends, but they are more than that. The two of them are dating, and they keep this to themselves because they know that their parents would not approve of their relationship. However, one day, they finally get caught together.
The love that was not accepted
Juliana and Yuri spend the summer together until Juliana’s housekeeper sees them kissing and tells her parents. Through them, Yuri’s mother, Principal Lim, also finds out about the incident.
After that, Juliana does not attend the welcome party. Yuri cannot contact her in any way, as her phone is off and her social media accounts have been deleted.
Yuri then tells her mother that the two of them are just friends and were hugging when the housekeeper saw them together. She even gets into a fake relationship with Dae to make her lie convincing.
Principal Lim assures Yuri that she will talk to Juliana’s parents and clear the misunderstanding. However, instead of doing that, she does not allow Juliana to study at KISS.
Due to the Miller merger, the Millers’ daughter is going to study at KISS, and Principal Lim does not want to hear rumors about Juliana and Yuri in school. She also tells Juliana’s parents that their daughter is a bad influence on Yuri.
After all this, Juliana is sent to Oakham, but she finds a way to sneak into the school and talk to Yuri before leaving. She does not tell her what Principal Lim did but promises to meet her in Iceland on New Year’s Eve, where a DJ that Yuri likes will be performing.
Yuri eventually finds out that her mother sent Juliana away, and Kitty decides to help her. Kitty asks her sister, Margot, who lives in England, to find Juliana. With Margot’s help, Yuri and Juliana get to talk to each other and keep in touch.
Finally, when Principal Lim sees the error of her ways, she contacts Juliana’s parents. As their parents want them to be happy together, Juliana gets to come back to KISS. However, Yuri and Juliana’s reunion at the airport is not what Juliana had imagined.
Yuri is happy to see her but leaves her to make a call to her mother regarding Kitty’s situation. Juliana seems disappointed by this because she was already concerned about Yuri and Kitty’s friendship and how close they had become. This just gives her another reason to be concerned.
