Juancho: Cindy la Regia: The High School Years character explained

In Cindy la Regia: The High School Years, Cindy discovers that she does not like her boyfriend, Max, when she meets a charming boy named Juancho, who is played by Gustavo Cruz.

Cindy meets Juancho, Brenda’s brother, at her birthday party. He comes to pick Brenda up when she gets drunk and Cindy takes care of her.

Juancho is the only person who notices that Cindy is not having fun at her own party. He then makes her dance and sweeps her off her feet.

However, Cindy still chooses to date Max, as Max confesses his feelings for her in front of everyone.

Someone special

Cindy is dating Max, but their relationship is nothing special. During this time, Cindy’s teacher assigns her a tutor, who turns out to be Juancho.

Furthermore, Cindy keeps running into Juancho. He even sneaks her out when she is on a date with Max that she is not enjoying.

Spending time with Juancho makes Cindy realize that she does not like Max. The boy who seems special to her is Juancho, and he is very different from Max.

Juancho is a smart student who will soon be moving to Mexico City for college. He is also in the physics club of their school.

Cindy eventually breaks up with Max. She then joins the physics club, and as Cindy and Lu are no longer friends, Cindy spends all her time with the members of the physics club.

While working with Juancho, Cindy grows close to him. She comes to know that Juancho also likes her when the two of them kiss.

Parting ways

Despite having feelings for each other, Cindy and Juancho’s romance as well as friendship come to an end when they go to Saltillo for a competition.

Cindy wants to sleep with Juancho, but he rejects her advances because she is drunk. His rejection hurts Cindy and ruins their relationship.

Cindy is then approached by Esteban, who tries to take advantage of her drunken state, which leads to Cindy returning home on her own.

Juancho and Cindy get a chance to talk later, and Juancho tells her that he had no intention of hurting her.

Juancho did not want to end his relationship with Cindy even before it properly began. He also apologizes to her for what happened between them that night.

Cindy does not tell Juancho about what Esteban did to her. She thanks him for being honest with her and says goodbye to him.

Cindy tells him that ending their relationship was for the best, but it is evident that she is also convincing herself of the same.
