Glodine Upshaw: The Upshaws part 4 character explained

Glodine Upshaw is Benny’s mother and a conwoman who visits her son at a time when she needs some assistance. The character is played by Marsha Warfield.

Weeks after Regina returns home, Glodine Upshaw visits her son because she got his messages that Regina had left and she was worried about him and his family.

Regina and Benny were just headed out so she invites Glodine and they end up going to a skating rink with the whole family. Once they sit down, Benny asks Glodine what she’s really up to because she never comes without an angle.

Glodine admits that she’s quitting the scamming game and as a sign of good faith, she returns Regina’s diamond earrings that she had stolen a few years ago.

Family is not off limits

When Benny is working in his garage, two goons walk up to him and threaten to hurt him unless he gives them the five grand that his mother owes them. Glodine shows up and buys some time but she mentions that they know Benny’s home address too.

Benny wants to help his mother but she says she can handle it on her own. She also plants the idea of letting go of the baseball cards he owns that would fetch a pretty penny.

Regina is angry that Benny had something that valuable but never used it when they needed money but now he’s considering it. The reality is that Glodine needs money for a trip to Cabo and she’s fleecing her own son for the cash.
