Besides Anita, Filipa is the other time traveler in the third season of Back to 15. Larissa Manoela and Juliana Paiva play Filipa.
When Anita, no longer wanting the power of time travel, deletes her Photoblog account, she ends up involuntarily traveling back in time once again.
This time, Anita travels to when she was an eighteen-year-old in college. It does not take her long to realize that there is another time traveler around her.
Anita continues looking for the other time traveler as she travels back and forth in time without any control, eventually realizing that Filipa is the one she is looking for.
Filipa’s newfound power
Filipa aspires to be an artist and is quite skilled at drawing. However, her dream of becoming an artist is shattered when one of her college professors tells her that she has technique but lacks natural talent.
Humiliated and disheartened, Filipa drops out of art school. Her life then turns out to be nothing like she imagined; she is lonely and unsuccessful.
Coincidentally, Filipa logs into her old Photoblog account on the same day Anita deletes hers. She inherits Anita’s ability to time travel and finds herself reliving the worst day of her life—the day her professor humiliated her.
This time, however, Anita, who happens to be Filipa’s classmate, defends her and later assures Filipa that she is talented, advising her not to drop out.
When Filipa returns to her present using the Photoblog account, she realizes that her life has changed. She now works for Anita, a reputed artist.
Now that she knows that she can alter her life by traveling back in time, Filipa decides to keep changing the past until she can live Anita’s life.
Filipa’s pursuit of a better life
In college, Filipa befriends Anita and discovers that she is also a time traveler when she overhears her discussing time travel with Joel at a party.
Filipa realizes that Anita, who has been time-traveling with her, plans to put an end to time-traveling, so she decides to keep an eye on her.
She gets herself invited to a camping trip with Anita’s friends by slashing Rafa’s tires and offering to drive them to the campsite.
There, Anita and Joel meet the programmer of Photoblog, who gives them a hard drive to enable them to delete Photoblog.
To prevent Anita from foiling her future plans, Filipa tries to steal the hard drive but fails, leading both Anita and Filipa to get stuck in a time loop.
Apart from them, no one else is aware that the same twenty minutes are repeating over and over again. Filipa is careful not to reveal her knowledge of the loop, but Anita eventually figures it out.
Filipa then steals and destroys the hard drive, ending the time loop. Upon returning to the present, Filipa realizes that she still does not have the success Anita had. Instead, she has ruined Anita’s life as well.
Anita, now in prison, proposes a partnership to change both their lives, suggesting that they work together to achieve success.
Filipa agrees, and they travel back in time to alter their present. Together, they win an art scholarship and become a successful duo.
While Filipa, who has always been alone, believes her life is now perfect, Anita, having lost all her friends, feels otherwise.
This leads to Anita returning to the past and taking control of Filipa’s Photoblog account as soon as she finds out Filipa’s password. Anita plans to delete Photoblog.
She locks Filipa in a room to prevent her from interfering, but Filipa escapes and tries to destroy the college computer that Anita and her friends are using.
Filipa ultimately gives up when Anita apologizes, explaining that they cannot truly appreciate their lives and learn from them if they keep trying to control the future.
She agrees to let Anita delete Photoblog, now prepared to work hard for an uncertain future. The show does not reveal whether Filipa and Anita achieve the same level of success as before.
However, it does show that Filipa is much happier in this new present. Apart from working with Anita, she is dating Joel and has many friends.
