Dulce: Acapulco character explained

Dulce is Memo’s sister who joins Las Colinas and immediately goes after Maximo’s job. Karen Rodriguez plays the character.

When the resort requires extra staff temporarily, Memo brings his sister Dulce to help out but she is quite good at the job.

Don Pablo asks Maximo to get some leverage on Alejandro Vera, but Maximo is focused more on claiming Julia’s nerves during her store launch

That is when Dulce swoops in to do what Maximo doesn’t. She excels at poolside, stealing Hector’s chance to hand over his novel to a noted publisher.

An opportunist

Dulce warms up to Diane next and becomes head of organizing events. Maximo takes notice and decides that he must do something to slow her progress.

He uses Memo to entrap Dulce and gets her on video talking about how she’s just pretending to be nice to get ahead.

Memo gets angry at Maximo for using him and his best friend decides to destroy the tape and take Dulce without dirty tricks.

When Don Pablo gives Maximo the task of firing Beto, he cannot go through with it, and Dulce gladly does it to prove she has a ruthless streak.

They both trade places as the the person to take over from Don Pablo but Maximo triumphs after winning over Alejandro Vera instead.

Dulce accepts her defeat but Maximo hires her as his assistant because he knows she can do the job just as well as he does.
