Doug is revealed to be the original Sweet 16 Killer

Marisa confesses that the Mollys had invited Trish to a sleepover to figure out if the rumor about Trish having sex with Coach Zane was true. Tiffany got Trish drunk and kept asking her about it, even when Trish denied it.

Trish got upset, started crying, and locked herself in Tiffany’s room. Marisa believes Trish must have called Doug. A drunk Trish then left and got into a car accident.

Why did Doug spare Pam?

It is revealed that Pam wasn’t at the sleepover. She and Tiffany had gotten into a fight over the summer. They weren’t on speaking terms for months.

Hence, Pam wasn’t there to bully Trish, and Doug was never planning to or going to kill Pam, who is not like Tiffany. Pam would never do something like that to anyone.

Jamie learns that the note that Pam received was a lie created by Chris Dubasage, who is the future Sweet 16 Killer, responsible for killing Pam 35 years later.

Doug’s death results in Randy becoming the principal of Vernon High School in the future.
