Chu Yu-sen, Ai’s brother, finds his perfect match in the gangster to whom he owes money. In Let’s Talk About CHU, JC Lin plays Chu Yu-sen.
Yu-sen plays underground poker, and as he is an exceptional player, he makes a lot of money from those games.
Yu-sen’s parents believe that he has a well-paying job, unaware that he does not work anywhere but makes his money from underground poker.
Yu-sen’s skills soon catch the attention of Yueh, a gangster who owns the underground club Yu-sen frequents.
The right partner for Yu-sen
Yu-sen has a boyfriend named Henry. Yu-sen plans to marry him, but Ai believes that Henry is not the right man for Yu-sen.
Henry keeps disappointing Yu-sen. He goes on a blind date at his mother’s insistence and later flirts with a friend in Yu-sen’s presence.
Due to that, Yu-sen gets drunk and goes to play poker. That night, he loses more money than he has and ends up owing Yueh 900,000 dollars.
To repay Yueh, Yu-sen has no choice but to accompany him to high-stakes underground poker games and win money for him.
During this time, Yueh and Yu-sen become quite close. Eventually, Yu-sen ends up sleeping with Yueh, who then goes to his hometown to tend to his sick grandmother.
Yu-sen finally breaks up with Henry and follows Yueh to Miaoli. Yu-sen provides Yueh with emotional support when he loses his grandmother.
The more Yu-sen gets to know Yueh, the more he likes him. After dealing with his grief, Yueh returns to Taipei with Yu-sen as his boyfriend.
Yueh, who does not wish to be a gangster anymore, eventually goes to prison, and Yu-sen decides to wait for him to return.
A good son
Yu-sen’s father wanted him to manage his factory in Indonesia. However, Yu-sen chose a different career path, as his father’s factory was facing losses.
His decision disappoints his father to this day. His father is not proud of Yu-sen and accuses his wife of not raising him to be the son he wanted.
Despite that, when Yu-sen’s father loses ten million dollars and leaves home to make money, it is Yu-sen who comes to his aid.
Yu-sen finds out about his father’s troubles from his manager and tracks him down with Ai and Yueh. He manages to convince his father to close the factory.
He takes it upon himself to address his father’s financial problems. For reassurance, he even gives his father the money he made with Yueh.
Yu-sen does not hold his father’s previous treatment against him and brings him home. He continues to be a good son to his parents.
