In Berlin, Camille Polignac is the wife of François Polignac, the director of the auction house Berlin’s team is planning to rob. Samantha Siqueiros plays Camille.
Camille has been married to François for the past eight years. However, their modern romance is far from perfect.
She has been asking for a child for years, but François won’t give her that. Despite that, Camille makes sure to live her life as intensely as possible.
When she can’t sleep at night, she gets up, goes to a bar, speaks to everyone she meets, drinks, and dances like crazy.
Berlin’s infatuation
Berlin grows infatuated with Camille while he and his team are surveilling Polignac and his residence.
He watches her reading books and dancing alone before leaving the apartment to enjoy herself at a bar where she sings with her dog by her side. Berlin intends to be her dog forever.
Despite being warned that he might complicate their mission by getting involved with the wife of the person they are going to rob, Berlin pursues Camille.

Finding out that Camille and François’ modern romance is not perfect further helps Berlin, allowing him to be the person who is there for Camille when her husband is not.
Berlin leaves a good impression when he first hangs out with Camille, who tells Berlin that she is married but, at the same time, wants to explore.
In return, he tells her he is not looking for some ordinary, trivial affair. When Berlin realizes that he has rejected her, he can’t contain his feelings. Hence, he follows her to stop her, and the two kiss.
Camille and Berlin’s affair
Camille and Berlin pursue their relationship in secret until François reads all of her messages and finds out about it.
Camille is put in a dilemma when François says that he is willing to give her the baby she has been asking for.
He is nice to her, which further makes her think that he is her true love, and Berlin is just an infatuation—the feelings at the beginning of love. Hence, Camille doesn’t plan to leave François anytime soon.
Camille’s fate at the end of season 1
When François is arrested once the authorities discover that his auction house has been robbed, Berlin tends to Camille and supports her when she claims that François is innocent.
Camille’s friend, Susi, persuades her to suspect Berlin for once. While Camille finds out that Berlin is the thief after breaking into his apartment, she also learns that her husband has been living a double life.
François has another family elsewhere with children of his own, while Camille has been asking for one baby for years.
She finds this information in the documents that were inside François’ personal safe. Susi encourages Camille to ditch both François and Berlin for hurting her.

They plan to ask Berlin for 40% of the money he has made from the heist. In the end, after tracking Berlin down, Camille reunites with him and records their conversation.
Though she gets Berlin’s confession and blackmails him, they are not as good as Berlin, who figures out their plot.
He manages to erase the recorded conversation. However, he accepts the extortion and hands Camille the money she is asking for.
Berlin does that only after reminding her that he helped her by destroying her marriage, in which she was hardly François’ soulmate.
Lastly, he also confesses that their love wasn’t fake either; he had nothing to gain by being with her; he only had everything to lose.
One of the notes Berlin has given Camille mentions the name of a bar in Singapore. Whether Camille will follow the address isn’t revealed.
