In iNumber Number: Jozi Gold, Brigadier Nandi is a corrupt official who wants to steal the gold that the dictator of Lesotho brings to South Africa. Brenda Ngxoli plays the role of Brigadier Nandi Donga.
Chili and Shoes conduct a sting operation to find evidence against the Hyena Man, and they do manage to arrest him. The only problem is that the Hyena Man gives them fake gold in exchange for money during the operation.
This displeases Chili and Shoes’ superior, Brigadier Nandi, who had promised to give a share of the gold to her superior to keep him happy. As a result, she sends Chili and Shoes to the basement to work with Van Zyl to catch the Gold Gang.
The youngest brigadier
Brigadier Nandi was forced into exile at the age of 16. She claims that she used a white man’s face as her shooting target for 11 years. She then went on to become the youngest brigadier.
She tells Chili and Shoes that she does not need to sleep with her superiors to rise through the ranks. She has been able to keep the General in the palm of her hand because she is the only one taking care of his pockets.
Since she failed to give the General a share of the gold that Chili and Shoes were supposed to get, she has no choice but to pay him out of her own pocket.
She then forces Chili and Shoes to work with Van Zyl because Van Zyl’s team has not made any arrests for the past six months, which means she has not given the General anything that will make him happy.
Greed for gold
It turns out that Brigadier Nandi had earlier helped the Hyena Man get out of prison. She then asks him to return the favor by telling her the Gold Gang’s plan, as she intends to steal the gold that the Gold Gang is going to steal from the dictator of Lesotho.
On the day of the heist, Brigadier Nandi’s team joins Van Zyl’s team to catch the Gold Gang. Soon after, she informs Shoes and Van Zyl that the two of them are surrounded by her people and that she is aware of the Gold Gang’s plan, as the Hyena Man is her informant.
She gets her team to take over the dictator’s plane in order to catch the Gold Gang if they try to leave. She also keeps Shoes and Van Zyl captive to prevent them from ruining her plan and promises to give them a piece of gold if they cooperate with her.
However, she is betrayed by the Hyena Man, and even Shoes and Van Zyl manage to escape, but not without Van Zyl getting shot by her. Just when she thinks she has lost the gold, she sees Shoes and Chili going somewhere and follows them.
By doing that, she finds the stolen gold, but Shoes stops her from taking it. She fights Shoes and is ready to shoot him down, but Shoes, who is known for never shooting anyone, fires his gun for the first time and injures her. He manages to stop her from getting away with the gold.
Brigadier Nandi ends up in the same prison as Chili. There, she tells him that she is going to break out of prison with some other women and asks him if he wants to join her.
