Benito Mancuso is a detective from Barcelona who travels to Mallorca to solve a case. David Mora plays the character.
When a crooked accountant named Aled Mallory escapes during a prisoner transfer, Benito Mancuso comes in from Barcelona to investigate the case.
He pushes Miranda and Max aside because he doesn’t need their help and this greatly annoys Miranda.
When they question Officer Noguera about the escape behind Mancuso’s back, he reprimands them and tells them to back off.
Mallory’s importance comes up eventually and Mancuso is forced to work with Miranda and Max.

Miranda and Max’s investigation leads them to Leon Grec, a notable criminal who is in Mallorca at the time.
That is when Mancuso loses his dome because their work jeopardizes his investigation. He reveals that Mallory was working with the authorities to take down Grec.
Miranda tells Mancuso that if he didn’t want them interfering, he should have been more forthcoming with them.
They finally decide to work together on the case but Miranda and Mancuso do not get along at all.
He talks about a partner in the past and she comments that they probably got tired of working with Mancuso which is why he’s a lone wolf now.
She later finds out that Mancuso’s partner died and apologizes for reading into him without properly getting to know him.
They eventually catch up to Mallory and arrest Grec. Then Mallory escapes with Mancuso’s help because he assisted in catching Grec.
Mancuso denies any wrongdoing, but working the case together brings him and Miranda closer.
Max sees them kissing outside the bar, but she later says that it was just some harmless fun.
He later asks Max to track down the business that Mallory gave them to check out, but when he works on a case with Miranda, Mancuso agrees to help.
They rush to the island where Miranda is about to be murdered and they save her. Mancuso heads back to Barcelona once his work in Mallorca is done, and he offers Miranda an open invitation to come work in Barcelona if she wants to.
