Bae Jeong-Min is a major supporting character in A Shop for Killers. Park Ji-Bin plays the character in the show.
Jeong Ji-An has had a peculiar childhood in that it was marred by blood and trauma. After losing her parents, she was raised by her uncle Jin-Man.
As an adult, she stays in her college dorm room but has to return to her uncle’s house in Yecheong after learning he’s passed away. Details of his death don’t add up, though.
Soon, a flurry of unnamed assassins begin bombarding her with bullets and bombs in a bid to kill her.
Amidst the chaos, she is helped by sketchy people while helpful people turn out to be sinister.
A helping hand
Bae Jeong-Min is one of the first helping hands that get extended when Ji-An arrives at Yecheong for her uncle’s funeral.
He helps her a great deal, from the funeral proceedings to the cleanup job in the bathroom, where Jin-Man allegedly took his life.
When Ji-An stumbles upon the web of dark and dangerous things that her uncle’s been involved with, Jeong-Min helps her get to the bottom of it all.

He accesses the website that Jin-Man used for his shopping mall. He further hacks into it to get to the specific details therein.
He previously also revealed to Ji-An that he helped her uncle with the revamping of his website, which he started working on a couple of days before Jin-Man’s death.
The true colors
Inside murthehelp, the suspicious and stuttering Brother warns Ji-An, imploring her not to trust Bae Jeong-Min.
Meanwhile, Jeong-Min warns Ji-An to not trust the creepy guy who calls himself Brother.
He’s obviously the more trustworthy option so Ji-An is inclined to believe him and handcuff Brother.
However, when Brother tells her that Jin-Man died because of Jeong-Min, she is compelled to consider his words.
Before leaving her inside murthehelp to go tend to an injured Min-Hye, he asks Ji-An several times to be wary of Jeong-Min.
Shortly after he departs for the ground floor, Jeong-Min hugs Ji-An, thanking her for trusting him.
She is surprised at his expression of relief since it’s a bit out of character for him.
She tries to gently push him away but he pulls her back in. As he keeps hugging her, his face changes shape and a devilish smile appears over it.
Previously, he was trying to make Ji-An listen to him instead of Brother.
That’s when he reminded her how he was the one who called her brother up when her bullies had locked her up inside the basement.
While hugging her, she tells her that it was also he who locked her up in the basement in the first place.
As Ji-An realizes that, Bae Jeong-Min plunges a syringe into her neck. She loses her balance and falls, as Jeong-Min smiles in glee.
