Plot summary

Antia tries to go back in time to change Luiza’s life, but due to Joel’s attempts to hack into her Photoblog account, her present changes repeatedly until she changes the password. She finally manages to travel back in time and go back to 2006.

She finds herself at her school’s talent show, not at Luiza’s party as she had expected. Anita comes to know that it has been two months since Luiza’s birthday party and that Luiza has left Imperatriz and is now living in São Paulo.

Anita is not the only one who returns to the past. Joel also finds himself in his teenage body in the year 2006. He remembers that the talent show was a disaster when he was in school, so instead of performing his original act, he recites the lyrics of “Bullet Train”, a song that has not been released yet.

Anita hears this and figures out that Joel has also time-traveled. She talks to him, and he admits that he tried to log into her Photoblog account. He wants to go back to 2021 immediately, but Anita needs to fix her sister’s life first, so she locks Joel in a storeroom in order to achieve her goal.

An angry Joel manages to get out of the storeroom and breaks Henrique’s guitar because Anita had told him that her perfect life is with him. Due to this, Henrique is forced to join Bruna and Spark’s band. The band’s impressive performance makes Henrique popular at school.

Anita decides to send Joel back to the future before anything else gets messed up. However, she also ends up in the future with him. In this timeline, Anita is engaged to Fabrício, who had heard Anita talking to Luiza about him on the phone in the past.

On the other hand, Joel’s life has also changed completely. He wakes up in a van and comes to meet Anita. Unhappy with their new realities, the two of them go back to 2006 to change their present.

Back in 2006, they make a plan to fix things. They realize that Joel must win a laptop in the lottery at Saint John’s Day festival, which is two months from now, to get his old life back. Joel and Anita are going to be here till then and try to fix everyone else’s life as well.

Their first goal is to get Luiza to come back to her parents. They go to São Paulo, and the two of them are joined by César and Fabrício. There, César meets a transwoman named Dani, who asks him to come to an LGBT party.

The whole group, including Luiza, goes to the party. While Luiza and Fabrício mend their differences and decide to be friends, César feels accepted by Fabrício when he admits that he cares for César’s feelings. César confesses to Dani that he feels like he was meant to be a woman.

Additionally, Anita manages to convince Luiza to come home with her. She also shares a kiss with Joel, much to Fabrício’s disappointment, as he has started liking her.

While Anita is away, Henrique breaks into her room and finds her corkboard, which has all her goals. When Henrique sees that Anita wants to go to Paris with him, he realizes that Anita likes him back.

Carol likes both Douglas and Henrique, so Anita and Joel need to ensure that she chooses Douglas, not Henrique. To earn Henrique’s forgiveness, Joel helps Henrique’s band record a music video for a festival.

Carol realizes that Henrique likes Anita, so she decides to choose Douglas. However, at the inter-school games, Eduardo, who now goes to a different school, slut-shames Carol, and Douglas does not defend her, which hurts Carol.

Meanwhile, Henrique confesses his feelings to Anita, but she cannot tell him that she feels the same way about him because of her time-traveling adventures. Henrique and Anita’s DVDs get exchanged, and Henrique ends up sending the wrong DVD for the festival.

This makes Henrique think that he is never Anita’s first priority, and he decides to end his friendship with her. Henrique then almost ends up kissing Carol, but the two of them are interrupted by Ms. Beth.

During the games, Carol finds a way to stop Eduardo from speaking ill of her by hitting him in the face. A humiliated Eduardo corners Joel with his friends and steals the notebook in which Joel had noted down all the significant events that are going to take place in the future.

Soon, Anita and Luiza’s father passes away. Anita cannot deal with the loss of her father one more time, so she goes back to the present. In this timeline, she is the one who left Imperatriz and does not stay in touch with her family. She parties a lot to drown her pain.

Six months after returning to the present, she runs into César, who has transitioned and is now Camila. She tells Anita that her mother is selling their family home, as a real estate company is buying everyone out in Imperatriz.

After hearing this news, Anita’s conscience does not allow her to keep running away from everything. Anita decides to return home. There, she meets Joel, who has been trying to find her for months because in this timeline also, he is living in a van.

He wants to go back to the past with Anita and change everything, but Anita does not want to return to that painful time. To convince her, Joel takes her to meet all her friends, and she realizes that they are all unhappy in their lives.

The friends drink together and decide to take down the Eiffel Tower that has been erected in Imperatriz by the real estate company that wants to turn Imperatriz into Paris. This leads to all of them being arrested by the police.

It turns out that the main investor in the real estate fund is none other than Eduardo. With the help of Joel’s notebook, he was able to win several bets, which made him rich. When Joel hits him, he decides to press charges.

The only way that Anita can get herself and her friends out of this mess, make everyone’s lives better, and save Imperatriz from Eduardo’s real estate fund is by going back in time.

Joel tells Anita that she is going to lose her father in every timeline, but her friends will be there for her. Anita chooses to trust Joel and flees the police station to travel back in time one more time.

Back to 15 season 2 ending explained in detail:

Do Anita and Joel stop Eduardo?

In 2006, instead of running away, Anita grieves her father’s death with her mother and Luiza. After that, she meets with Joel, and the two of them work together to stop Eduardo from creating the worst timeline.

Anita thinks that Eduardo might have memorized everything that was in the notebook, so instead of taking the notebook back from him, Anita and Joel must make him believe that the information in it is useless.

At Saint John’s Day festival, Eduardo is going to pick number 42 to win the laptop in the lottery, as according to Joel’s notebook, number 42 is going to win. Anita and Joel plan to steal the ball with number 42 on it to prevent that number from being picked as the winning number.

However, Ms. Beth catches Joel trying to steal the ball and takes him away. Joel manages to lock her in the storeroom, but he still fails to steal the ball, as Eduardo and his friends run into him and tie him to a tree.

By the time Anita finds him, it is too late to steal the ball, and number 42 wins. However, Eduardo admits that he has not memorized anything that is in the notebook, which makes Joel and Anita chase him to take the notebook from him.

Joel and Anita succeed, but they also discover that Eduardo is upset because his friends were not there for him when he was expelled. Eduardo claims that he does not want the notebook and leaves it with Joel and Anita.

Is Camila accepted by her father?

César decides to embrace her true identity and live as a woman. She comes to the festival in a dress. While Fabrício supports her and even starts referring to her as his sister, other people stare and whisper about her. Even her father is not supportive.

Leo, who had earlier admitted that letting César go was a mistake, apologizes to her for not treating her right. He calls her a pretty girl, and the two of them decide to be friends.

When Ms. Beth comes out of the storeroom, she gets on the stage and talks about what she considers to be disgusting behavior, which includes César wearing a dress and two girls kissing. César’s friends encourage her to speak up against her.

César then calls her out for being prejudiced. She also talks about how this is the time for everyone to discover themselves. After that, Spark, who has always accepted César for what she is and made her feel comfortable, kisses her in front of everyone.

César’s father is moved by her speech and tells her that he is going to make an effort to help her. He also tells her that when her mother was pregnant with her, she knew that she was going to have a girl and had thought of naming her Camila. César then takes the name that her mother had chosen for her.

What happens to everyone else?

At the festival, Carol forces Henrique and Anita to talk to each other. The two of them resolve their differences. Anita promises him that she is never going to stop being his friend and gives him her father’s guitar.

Henrique and Carol realize that they both like each other and end up kissing. At the same time, Luiza gets together with Bruna.

Anita tells Joel that she is tired of time traveling and that the way to stop interfering with everyone’s life is by going back to 2021 and deleting her Photoblog account. She thanks Joel for sticking with her through thick and thin.

She also promises to go on a date with him and kisses him. The two of them then burn Joel’s notebook, which caused so much trouble. At home, when Anita is ready to go back to 2021, Fabrício comes to meet her.

When Joel had earlier talked about time traveling, Fabrício is the only one who had not taken it as a joke. He now asks her if he is going to end up with her in the future and kisses her. The kiss leaves her smiling to herself.

Does Anita delete her Photoblog account?

Anita returns to the future. In this timeline, Camila is still with Spark, and fortunately, she is still writing her stories. Henrique is a musician and is still in the band.

We do not find out what Anita is doing or if she is dating anyone, as she tells Camila that she will discover all that on her own. Anita gets ready to say goodbye to her Photoblog account because she does not need it anymore.

However, just when she clicks the delete button, she closes her eyes the way she does whenever she travels back in time. This suggests that this might not be the end of Anita’s time-traveling adventures.
