Alicia Sierra and Raquel Murillo’s cameos in Berlin explained

In Berlin, Alicia Sierra and Raquel Murillo appear when the cops in France receive a lead that the robbers they are looking for could be Spanish.

Inspector Marie Lavelle’s investigation takes her to the car that Roi and Cameron robbed and lost to a racer. Cameron dropped one of the necklaces they had stolen in that car.

The racer and his partner reveal that the couple they beat in the race for this car looked Spanish. Four more witnesses have confirmed the same.

To further extend her investigation, Lavelle contacts Europol Spain, and Alicia Sierra joins her in this case.

Alicia Sierra figures out how careful the robbers have been, that François has nothing to do with this robbery, and that the necklace left behind is not a distraction.

After learning that Lavelle only has one strong lead in this case, Alicia calls Raquel Murillo, Deputy Inspector of the Criminal Investigations Unit in Spain.

The investigation

Alicia and Raquel don’t see eye to eye with Lavelle and her team. Their methods of investigation don’t align. There is also a debate on Spain vs. France.

Lavelle can’t help but listen to Alicia and Raquel’s suggestions, as they do make sense if they want to catch the criminals as fast as they can.

Alicia and Raquel’s method of investigation doesn’t align with Lavelle’s

Some of Raquel’s colleagues from forensics inform her about the range of cameras that may have been used to watch over Polignac.

Their range suggests someone right from the building next to Polignac’s could be watching him. This takes them to the hotel Berlin is staying at.

Despite Raquel, Alicia, and Lavelle’s immense efforts, Berlin and his team manage to escape.

At the end, Raquel and Alicia revisit Lavelle for an update. Unfortunately, they are left with nothing but multiple DNA samples and police sketches.

Alicia assesses that their criminals have gotten away for now. However, she is pretty sure that they will pull off another heist such as this, and next time, they will be ready for them.
