Alejandro Vera: Acapulco character explained

Alejandro Vera is Ricardo’s brother who is there to oversee their ownership of Las Colinas. Jaime Camil plays the character.

Alejandro Vera shows up and tells Diane that he shows up every time his brother makes an impulsive purchase and ensures that it is profitable.

He wants to get an idea of how the hotel runs and whether it is a worthy investment to make.

He has some romantic tension with Diane and they are constantly flirting with each other, which makes Hector uncomfortable.

Maximo learns that Alejandro is a playboy who never commits to a woman. He still wants to win him over so that he can rise in the hotel.

A petty response

After getting a love letter from Hector that he didn’t want to send, Diane politely declines Alejandro’s romantic overtures.

During the hurricane, he sees Diane and Hector kissing which makes him mad. Earlier, he learned about the “book of secrets” from Maximo after he tried to win Alejandro’s favor.

Alejandro steals the book and uses it to push Diane and Don Pablo out so that he can have full control of the hotel.

He does this out of spite after Diane rejects him for Hector and then he offers Maximo Don Pablo’s old job because Maximo helped him out.
