Netflix has finally released the official trailer and release date for its upcoming reality series Next in Fashion. The trendy new venture will be co-hosted by British fashion icons – Queer Eye alum Tan France and model-turned-fashion designer, Alexa Chung.
The announcement for the project underway was made back in May, 2019, via the show’s official instagram @nextinfashion by France and Chung themselves:
A competition among 18 aspiring designers (who have previously worked with well-known fashion houses), it will be a battle for world-wide recognition, a grand prize of $250,000 and the chance to feature their collection on the luxury online retail store, Net-a-Porter.
A 10-part series, Next in Fashion will also invite celebrity and guest judges including designers Tommy Hilfiger, Kerby Jean-Raymond and Prabal Gurung; Brazilian model of Victoria’s Secret fame, Adriana Lima; Eva Chen, the director of partnerships for Instagram; Net-a-Porter’s Elizabeth von der Goltz and celebrity stylist, Elizabeth Stewart.
It premiers on 29 January 2020, on Netflix.
