Line of Descent: ZEE5 to stream crime thriller starring Brendan Fraser, Abhay Deol and more

ZEE5 is all set to stream Line of Descent starring Abhay Deol, Ronit Roy, Ali Haji and Neeraj Kabi in the lead. The cast will be accompanied by George of the Jungle and The Mummy star Brendan Fraser.

The film’s story revolves around the life of three brothers (Kabi, Haji and Roy) after the death of their father (Prem Chopra).

Roy, as the older brother, decides to embark on a journey of solely ethical and legal businesses. However, Kabi does not agree and wants to continue dealing with illegal weapons.

As per the trailer, Kabi approaches Fraser to take the deal forward and that’s when things get messy.

Deol will be seen as an undercover cop whose mission is to end the mess created by their family.

The official description of the show reads: “Line of Descent is a 2019 crime thriller starring Abhay Deol, Ronit Roy, Neeraj Kabi, Ali Haji, Prem Chopra and Hollywood star Brendan Fraser.

After the death of their father, the three sons of an Indian dysfunctional mafia family fight over the future of their criminal enterprise. Meanwhile, an undercover officer sets out to end their family’s legacy.”

Kabi, Deol and Roy are well known for their roles in the web space. Kabi has been appreciated for his work as Parulkar in the popular Netflix Original Sacred Games.

While Roy has been part of another crime thriller named Hostages for Hotstar, Deol starred in this year’s Netflix Original film Chopsticks.

The film is all set to premiere on December 4, 2019. You can catch the trailer here:
