FLAMES: Trailer out for season 2 of The Timeliners’ high school romance

Ever since the Timeliners released the first season of FLAMES in 2018, Rajjo and Ishita’s love story was a hit. The highly relatable rom-com was a welcome addition to the web series market.

Fast forward a year and FLAMES is back for its second outing. The new trailer, which was released on The Timeliners’ YouTube channel, hints at an equally emotional and fun ride this time. It is the second term of first love.

While the first season dealt with crushes and the onset of relationships, this season seems to be focussed on handling those relationships. The trailer hints at trouble in paradise as both couples can be seen having problems.

The study aspect is also something that was highly present in season 1 owing to the setting being a coaching center for most of the show. It seems that even in season 2, the brunt of science and commerce will be felt by the high-schoolers.

There are echos of breakups, hate, insecurity, and blame. But, considering the nature of the show, a happy ending can be expected. However, Rajat (Ritvik Sahore) and Ishita (Tanya Maniktala) were seen breaking up their relationship in a teaser released last week.

Pandu (Shivam Kakkar) and Anusha (Sunakshi Grover) have their fair share of troubles in the trailer too as they can be seen arguing a lot and talking about breaking up.

Also, making a return is the infamous tuition teacher, Kaushal Sir (Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish), who was an angel in disguise for Rajat last season.

All episodes of the new season will be available on TVFPlay and MXPlayer from 18 October 2019.

FLAMES term 2 has been directed by Apoorva Singh Karki and written by Kunal Aneja. Check out the trailer below:
