The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 3 release date announced

The long wait for the latest season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is about to come to an end. The official release date has been announced as December 6.

The official Twitter account of the show confirmed the release date along with sharing a teaser for the new season:

The second season revolved around Miriam Maisel aka “Midge” (Rachel Brosnahan) accepting singer Shy Baldwin’s offer to tour with her.

However, it ended on a cliffhanger as Midge kissed her estranged husband Joel (Michael Zegen) even though she had been dating Benjamin (Zachary Levi).

The show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said in March this year: “Her journey this year that we’ve set out for her is it’s the first time she’s setting out as a road comic, it’s the first time she’s getting paid for this, it’s the first time she’s going to have consistency, and she’s dealing with audiences that aren’t her people.

“That is going to bring its own story twist to it, we’re definitely going to some different places in Season 3.”

The series is one of Prime Video’s most prized assets. It has a 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 8.8 IMDb rating. It has also bagged eight Emmys and 3 Golden Globes.

It has 20 Emmy nominations for the next edition, second only to Game of Thrones, which has 32. The series is also in the run for Outstanding Comedy Series.
