Netflix India dropped a new teaser for the announcement of season two of the popular series Sacred Games.
The first look titled ‘Meet The Players’, also shows the audiences some new cast members such as Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey.
Both Koechlin and Shorey are well-known for their roles in other web series like Made In Heaven (Amazon Prime Video) and Metro Park (Eros Now) respectively.
The video released by Netflix India also has some of the original cast including Saif Ali Khan and Nawazudin Siddiqui who play Sartaj Singh and Ganesh Gaitonde respectively. It comes to an end with Pankaj Tripathi sitting in a meditative pose.
The development and storyline of Tripathi’s character will be much anticipated by fans in the new season, as some of first season’s cliffhangers were evidently tied to him.
While the date of the second season has not been announced yet, the show (which is based on of the critically acclaimed 2006 novel by Vikram Chandra with the same name) gained immense popularity throughout the country with its first season.
